Severus and I have been dating for three years now. We live at Hogwarts, where he works as a potions master, and I work at the three broomsticks.

"I'm heading to work, Y/n. I'll see you at lunchtime!" Severus kissed me as I rolled over.

"Bye, Babe!" I yawn, opening my eyes.

Severus left for work while I slowly got up to prepare for the day. I didn't start work for several more hours, so I decided to change and have breakfast before hitting the library.

As I stood up, I felt dizzy, and like I was going to throw up, so I quickly ran to the bathroom, crouching over the toilet bowl as I threw up.

"Maybe I should take a test," I muttered to myself.

I hadn't been feeling well for a couple of days now, but due to Severus' work schedule, I hadn't had to say anything to him. I knew the Hospital Wing had a stock of Muggle Pregnancy tests. I didn't want to be seen grabbing them.

(Though I don't want to encourage teen pregnancies, I work at a school, and I think that the high school girl's bathrooms should stock period supplies and pregnancy tests. It's a public school, so I understand it might be a bit out of budget, but if they stop adding buildings, they could stock the bathrooms.)

I made my way to the Hospital Wing; luckily, breakfast had yet to finish, so no one was there. I quickly ducked in, grabbing a couple of tests before bolting back to our rooms.

I was nervous about taking the test. I had always wanted kids, but Severus had never said he wanted kids. He had never said he didn't either, but he constantly complained about the kids he worked with.

Even though I knew Severus wasn't home, I searched the rooms before locking myself in the bathroom. I peed in a cup, removing the test from the package and dipping it into the pee before replacing the cap and placing it on the bathroom counter. After I had washed my hands, I decided to take a shower while I waited for the test.

Though it was killing me not to look at the test, I knew I needed to relax a little before checking, or the time would go much slower. After my shower, I dried myself off and put on my clothes for the day.

Finally, I took a deep breath and flipped over the test...
