(Do I even need to tell you this is an old one? Time to fix/finish another old One-shot that never made it to Wattpad! Probably because it was so trash! Like, this has an ending and is less than fricken 50 words! Also, ignore the impossible scenario; I seem good at those!)
(Y/n's P.O.V)
A war that lasted 31 years came down to one night. The fate of the world as we know it all rested on this Battle: the Battle of Hogwarts. This Battle would go down in history. Those people who lost would be remembered for centuries as heroes. My son would be remembered as a hero.
As the Battle slowed and Death Eaters retreated, Hogwarts students and teachers carried their loved ones into the Great Hall to mourn the losses. My family gathered around Fred, and while George and Molly wept at his side, I held Ginny. Percy embarrassed his brother Ron while Charlie and Bill stared, shocked, in a trans-like state. They hadn't seen their brother in months if not years, and when they did, it was on his deathbed.
Everything was in slow motion as we heard an evil high-pitched cackling. We turned to see Bellatrix Lestrange coming down the bleachers towards us. Ginny jumped up and started to battle the witch. I moved before Ginny and pushed her towards my wife, standing with her wand drawn.
"NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!" I screamed, sending a curse toward Bellatrix. (I know Molly's line, but you can't tell me you haven't always wanted to say that!)Bellatrix and I sent spell after spell toward each other until she eventually managed to disarm me. My wand went flying, and before I could even register what was going on, I was hit by the killing curse.
It felt like days before I saw or heard anything, but when I did, I could see Molly and our kids, Molly was fighting Bellatrix. She managed to disarm and kill the witch before she ran to my limp body. She screamed my name as she lifted me up. Our kids did not know what to do as Ginny buried her face in Bill's chest; they had just lost their brother and one of their mothers.
"Mum?" That voice was one I knew all too well, one that I had just been mourning the loss of.I turned to see Fred. I embraced him as we watched the scene play out below, our family saying goodbye to us for the last time before they were forced back into Battle.
"I've been talking to Nearly Headless Nick, Mum. He said there might be a way for us to return—not completely, but enough to be able to talk to them and help them." Fred told me that when we noticed the Snake was slain and Harry was battling the Dark Lord, we knew this would be the end.
Win or loss we didn't want to know all we wanted was that no one else joined us. I knew Fred didn't dare mention it till he knew his twin would survive the Battle. It wasn't like I would leave till I knew they were safe anyway.
"Then let's go see Nearly Headless Nick. We will have to ease them into the idea, though, so don't go rushing in!" I told him as we tore our eyes away.
Fred took me to where the Gryffindor Ghost had set himself up pelting anything he could at Death Eater, much like Peeves was known for. We helped fight as much as we could till the Battle was won, and then we spoke to Nick. He guided us through becoming visible to people, and we returned to Burrow.
Fred went to his room to watch George staying out of view of his best friend in the world. He watched his twin shatter and smash a mirror because he looked too much like his brother. I followed Molly to the kitchen, knowing that even after all this loss, she would provide for our family first.
Molly was completely out of it, so I tried my best to guide her through it; I could make myself solid enough to pick up objects, but I couldn't touch people, so instead, I placed any ingredients she had forgotten into the pot.
For the next few meals, no one came to eat. No one wanted to eat. The guilt gnawed at them, knowing they made it out alive, but others didn't.
(Very sorry for the sudden cut. I have no ideas and am very tired!Anyway, from what I can tell, that was the last one I had! It's getting really late, so I'm going to head to bed! I'll work out if I want to keep going and continue my writing streak! By the time this chapter comes out, it will be my 16th day of posting! I'm very proud of myself for staying motivated enough to post for 16 days straight! Even the Wi-Fi cutting out for a few days didn't stop me!)
