(Y/n's P.O.V)

My name is Y/n Y/L/N, and I'm a seventh-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I belong to the (Y/H) house and have always loved the art of Potions. My favorite professor is the infamous Severus Snape, who has always intrigued me with his dark and mysterious demeanor.

From my first day at Hogwarts, I made it my mission to learn more about him. One day, while researching Professor Snape, I discovered that his birthday was rapidly approaching. I got him a gift, but it could only be found in Knockturn Alley, where no student, child, non-dark witch or wizard should ever venture alone. Despite the danger, I was determined to get the perfect gift for my favorite professor. I went to Knockturn Alley alone, with my head lowered and cloak up, hoping to avoid unwanted attention. However, I was caught by none other than Professor Snape himself. He asked me what I was doing there, and I hesitantly told him the truth.

To my surprise, Professor Snape insisted on accompanying me, and together, we walked through the dimly lit alleyways until I found the perfect gift. However, with him there, I couldn't buy the gift I wanted, so I had to settle for something else. As we walked back towards Diagon Alley, I couldn't help but feel relieved that I had made it out of Knockturn Alley safely. I thanked Professor Snape for his help, and he left me at the entrance of Diagon Alley. Later on, I went to Dumbledore's office to request a special birthday gift for Professor Snape. I asked if he could be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, but Dumbledore disagreed. Despite this setback, I still wanted to do something special for Professor Snape's birthday.

I decided to make him a coffee cake decorated to look like a giant coffee cup, his favorite drink. Before baking the cake, I went to the kitchen behind the fruit bowl picture and greeted the house elves. Once the cake was ready, I put it in a box and planned to leave it on Professor Snape's desk while he was at dinner. However, as I was returning to the dungeon, I ran into Professor Snape himself. I tried to hide the cake behind my back, but he noticed it and kissed me. We exchanged gifts, and I gave him a cake, a book, and a card. He thanked me, and we both left with smiles on our faces. It was a birthday celebration that neither of us would ever forget.
