"Babe" I tried to wake up Mackenzie. "Angel come on get up" I said and she started to open her eyes a little. She looks so cute waking up all confused.

"How long was I sleeping?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"I let you sleep for two hours and a half" I told her and she smiled.

"Thanks" She said as she grabbed her phone. She went onto hers so I went onto mine. I saw a text from Hunter.

Hunter: everything good?

Me: yes finally lol

Hunter: lmao good

Me: you still with Gigi?

Hunter: she just left

Me: how'd that go

Hunter: I 100% got another chance

Me: go for it

I locked my phone to see Mackenzie is now standing and slipping my shirt on. Damn I almost missed that. She looked over at me and smiled. I put my phone down next to hers and I stood up. I followed her out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Mac and cheese right?" I asked her as I sat up on her counter.

"Yup" She answered as she grabbed the box.

"You're sexy in my shirt" I told her and she smiled and ignored me as she was getting everything out to cook. I chuckled. "I love you" I said in a soft tone. Ew who am I?

"I love you too dork" She said back and I pretended to be offended. She laughed and leaned against the counter. I got off of the part I was on and walked over to her.

"A very hot dork though right?" I joked back as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Very" She joked back. She turned around to move stuff on the counter, but I didn't move my arms. I put my chin on her shoulder. I heard the front door open and I stepped away from her. What the fuck? I looked at her confused and she looked scared. "Hello?" She called out.

"Hi Hun!" It's her mom... My eyes widened. "I'm just stopping by to get some things since it's my lunch break"

"Go in the garage" She mouthed to me. I was about to start walking over to the door, but then her mom walked in. She looked at us with kind of a confused look. Well, fuck.

"Hi Jason" She said as she crossed her arms and leaned against the counter.

"Hi" I said back. I don't even know what to do. It's kind of funny actually.

"Do you mind if I talk to Mackenzie alone for a little? It will be quick" She said to me.

"Uh Jason you could just go in my room" Mackenzie said to me before I could answer her mom. I just nodded then walked out. Well, she's screwed. I chuckled quietly to myself as I walked up the stairs. I went into her room and grabbed my phone. I looked at my screen as I sat down. I saw I had a text from Justin and quickly muted his contact before reading his text. I do not need Mackenzie to see his name and ask questions.

Justin: do you wanna come back for aunt Maggie's birthday it's been a few years
