"I know it's annoying, but just stay focused." Johnson told me.

"I am." I said back. His phone started to ring through the car speakers. "Oh my fucking god." I said as I saw her name pop up on the screen. "She's not going to stop." I said throwing my head back against the seat.

"Yeah Mack?" He answered her call.

"I do not want to stay here, Johnson" She told him. He sighed loudly. Now he'll see what I'm dealing with right now.

"Mackenzie, you have to-"

"No I don't. Please just put me on a plane. Please" She begged him. I groaned. Half of me felt bad she was begging, but the other half doesn't care right now. I'm like spilt in two with my feelings.

"Turn back around" I said to Johnson. She needs to see how serious I am. "Bring me back there right now" I said once he didn't turn around.

"Calm down, Mc-"

"Turn around" I demanded then I leaned over and hung up the phone.

"We are wasting time, McCann." He said back as he quickly pulled a u-turn.

"I fucking know." I snapped. I let out a breath. "Trust me, I'm going to get her to stop." I told him.

"What are you going to do?" He asked me. "We have to find this guy before he hurts someone."

"We will find him. We know every inch of this island. He has no where to really hide." I said back. "I'll be quick. I promise." We pulled into the driveway again. I quickly got out and ran to the door. I'm so fucking mad at her. She's giving him more time to get away from us. Why is she doing this?

I walked into the house and swung the door wide open. I stepped aside as if I was giving her room to walk out.

"You want out? Go." I said in a pissed off tone. She looked at me with a confused look on her face."But there is no plane to get you out of here. If you wanna roam around the island and get found by this guy trying to kill us all, go ahead. Be my guest. Since you won't let me protect you, go ahead" I said as I crossed my arms. Obviously I won't let her do that, but if she wants to act like I don't care then I'll act like it. She sighed loudly and shook her head. "Do I have to lock you in the basement or something? What do I have to do for you to just stay here?" I asked getting louder again.

"Um don't lock me in the basement" She said rolling her eyes.

"And here we go" I mumbled. Maybe instead of snapping at her, I should play it nice. As mad as I am, I need to try to calm down and speak to her nicely. I walked over to her now. "Please." I quietly spoke. "Please just stay here. I will make sure every single window and door is locked. If god forbid someone were to show up here, in the main bedroom upstairs, there is a hidden room in the closet. You just have to push on the back wall and a small door opens. Please, Angel. I'm begging you to stay here. Can you just listen to me? Can you just trust me?" I begged her as I grabbed one of her hands. I held it with both my hands. She took a deep breath and nodded.

"Okay" She quietly agreed finally. Thank god. I let go of her hand and pulled her into a hug. "Please be safe" I heard her say.

"I always am" I said as I pulled away. I gave her a long kiss and I could tell she was more calm when I stared into her eyes. "I love you, Angel. Don't ever forget that"

"I never would. I love you too" She said back. I kissed her again then let go of her. I showed a small forced smile then headed for the door again.

"I'll be back soon" I told her then I walked right out the door. I ran straight to the car. "Who knew all I had to do was talk nicely?" I joked and he instantly started to drive. He chuckled.
