(pretty sure wattpad glitched again so these may be out of order!!)
Josephine watches Barty intently as he struggles with his apparition, contrasting her own proficiency. Despite his efforts, he seems to be having a tougher time mastering the skill.
"This is stupid," he mutters, his frustration palpable.
A slight twitch of her lips betrays Josephine's amusement, earning a small laugh from Pandora beside her.
Her mind drifts once again to Regulus, a pang of longing hitting her.
Pandora seems to sense her unease. "Are you alright?" she whispers softly.
Josephine nods subtly, but Pandora's concern persists. "What's on your mind?" she inquires gently.
With a sigh, Josephine turns her attention to her nails, contemplating her feelings. "I miss Regulus. But it bothers me how quickly I want to forgive him," she confesses.
Pandora nods thoughtfully. "He messed up, but if you love him, Josie, perhaps it's worth considering forgiveness. Whether it takes weeks or months, it's your decision. No one else's," she reassures.
Her gratitude wells up as she exhales heavily. "Thank you, Pandora," she says sincerely.
Those words resonate, offering a sense of clarity. Is her fear rooted in the judgment of others? Pandora is right; the decision is hers alone.
In the end, Josephine resolves to follow her instincts, regardless of outside opinions.

"May I sit with you?" Regulus asks quietly, breaking Josephine's concentration from the potions book she is engrossed in. She glances up and, with a slight nod, invites him to join her.
Josephine finds solace in the library, immersed in her studies for an upcoming potions quiz. Since Regulus has called off their engagement, there is a noticeable hesitancy in his demeanor around her.
She can't help but understand his unease, though deep down, she longs for things to return to normal—wishing the rupture hadn't occurred, knowing it is an unfair wish to harbor.
Yet, even if their relationship hasn't fractured, Josephine can't shake the looming specter of the future, fraught with uncertainty and danger, particularly her inevitable confrontation with Tom. It makes her question the wisdom of maintaining friendships in such precarious times.
"Josephine?" Regulus's voice cuts through her reverie.
Startled, she refocuses her attention. "Sorry, what?" she replies, her mind still wrestling with conflicting thoughts.
His concern evident, Regulus offers, "Do you want help studying for the potions quiz?"
Part of her wants to refuse, to cling to her anger. But in truth, she misses him. "Sure," she acquiesces.
