"Are you sure you have everything?" Josephine asks.
Serena turns and gives her a mock glare. "Mum, we repacked my trunk three times. I have everything."
Josie frowns slightly.
Eleven years have gone by in a flash, and now it's time for her daughter to go to Hogwarts. At least the new headmaster is McGonagall; Josephine trusts her.
"If you're sure," Josephine says.
Serena smiles at her, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
Serena mostly takes after her mother, the only difference being her eyes, which are Regulus's. Her hair is the same shade and texture as Josephine's.
"Your father's panicking," Josie whispers to her daughter. "He's quite certain he might just keep you here instead."
Serena giggles, her young face shining with joy.
They are in Serena's room, decorated with her own artwork on the walls. Serena is an amazing artist, likely inspired by watching Regulus paint and sell his own paintings.
"How do you feel about going to Hogwarts?" Josephine asks.
Her daughter pauses slightly, then shuts and locks her trunk before turning around.
"I feel a bit nervous. I know Luna will be there already, same with Harry, Aurora, and Lysander."
Luna is Pandora's daughter, Aurora is Sirius and Remus's adopted child, and Lysander is Evan and Barty's.
"So, I will know a few people, but they are a bit older than me," Serena says, taking a deep breath. "I'm only nervous about meeting the people in my year."
Josie nods slightly.
She is happy her daughter isn't worried about disappointing them by being sorted into a different house.
"I'm sure you'll make many friends," Josie comforts her. "You're an amazing girl, with an amazing personality."
"Thank you, Mum," Serena says, her round face scrunching up in a smile.
"Mon Soleil?! Mon cœur?!" (My sun, my heart)
Josephine rolls her eyes slightly. Regulus is nervous about Serena leaving.
He soon appears in the doorway, looking immaculate in an all-black outfit with dark gray designs. His shoulders relax when he sees them both.
"We have to leave," he says gently, his hair slightly long. "Or else we will be late."
Alright," Josie says, rising from her daughter's bed. "Let's go."
Serena grabs her trunk and runs to her father. Regulus laughs, hugging her tightly.
Soon, they apparate to the platform, which buzzes with activity. Students are running around, talking, and laughing.
