"Can you hand me those?" Josephine points to a pair of shoes.

It is Lily's wedding day. Both she and Regulus are getting ready at the house before they will apparate to Euphemia and Fleamont's home.

Technically, Lily and James are already married, but they want to have a ceremony.

Regulus hands her the shoes.

"Are you alright?" he asks, adjusting his shirt.

"Just... nervous to see Fleamont," she replies, slipping on the shoes before standing up.

Josie is anxious about seeing him again, worried he might try to talk to her.

Regulus squeezes her hand tightly. "I'll stay near you," he assures.

"It's okay," she says, taking a deep breath, her brown hair pulled back from her face. "I'm fine."

Regulus gives her a look before kissing the back of her hand. Then they apparate to Euphemia and Fleamont's house.

There are many people already there, though they only know a few.

"Reg!" Sirius comes running over.

He and Regulus have been slowly reconnecting.

"Sirius."

Sirius smiles brightly. "You look lovely," he says to Josephine.

"Thank you."

The wedding will be held in the backyard. As Sirius leads them outside, her eyes unconsciously go to her old bedroom window, remembering how Sirius once helped her down.

Regulus tightens his hold on her hand, bringing her back to the present as Sirius guides them to their seats.

Their seats have a perfect view of where Lily and James will get married. They chat quietly with Sirius for a moment before he has to leave to fulfill his duties as the best man.

Soon, the ceremony begins. James walks down the aisle first, shooting her a small smile.

After the bridesmaids and their partners walk down the aisle, the music changes to a new song.

Everyone stands as Lily begins walking down the aisle.

She looks stunning; her dress is beautiful and perfectly fitted.

Josephine is pretty sure James is crying. Sirius seems prepared, handing him tissues.

The whole ceremony is beautiful, and James' vows make everyone laugh.

Once the ceremony is over, the reception begins, with the music shifting to a quicker tempo.

Josie tries her best to stay far away from Euphemia and Fleamont. She really doesn't want to even look at them.
