The day Kara was regretting had finally come. "Leeeeeeeenaaaaa!" Kara cried out from their bedroom. Lena thinking the worst had happened bolted into their room to see her wife lying on their bed sobbing. "Kara! What happened? What's wrong?" Lena gasped. Blue eyes met green ones and Kara pouted. "My pants!" Kara sobbed. "What about them darling?" Lena asked. "Leeeeee! They don't fit!" Kara groaned as more tears spilled from her eyes. "Oh baby! I'm sorry. How about we try on the new maternity pants..." Lena suggested. Kara looked at Lena and burst out sobbing again. "Leeeeeee! You don't get it! I'm faaaaaaaat!" Kara whined. "Kara...darling....love...you're not fat, you're pregnant with our baby." Lena cooed as she wrapped her arms around her. "Do you still love me?" Kara whimpered. "Of course! I'll always love you darling. Now let me help you get dressed so we can go to our appointment." Lena whispered.
A little while later they were arriving at their doctors. "I hope it's a boy." Kara whispered. "I hope it's a girl." Lena replied. "Well I suppose we'll find out soon won't we?" Kara asked. Long gone were her tears and fears of Lena not loving her. Right now all Kara was thinking about what the gender of their baby was. Lena helped Kara out of the car and walked beside her into the office. "Danvers-Luthor." Lena said to the receptionist.
A few minutes later they walked into doctor's office, Kara was laying out on the exam table with her clothes off and a gown on. "I'm nervous." Kara said. "Relax darling, it's gonna be alright." Lena whispered as she sat beside her holding her hand. "Ah Mrs. And Mrs. Danvers Luthor! How are we doing today?" The doctor asked. "We're ready to see what we're having." Kara said with a bright smile on her face. "Ok! Let's get started then shall we?" The doctor said. Both woman nodded.
"Ok! Heres the head...now lets see if we can get a peek at what your having." The doctor said as she began rolling the wand over Kara's stomach. Suddenly the baby moved the right way and the doctor smiled. "Congratulations! You're having a girl!" The doctor exclaimed. "A girl! Leeeeee! We're having a little girl!" Kara exclaimed. "Yes we are!" Lena replied with a smile. "Congratulations! I'll print off a picture for you two and you can get dressed and head home." The doctor said.
