Later that evening everyone gathered in the dining room where they were greeted by a large table full of food. "So Alex and Sam couldn't make it, as it's so close to Sam's due date." Eliza said. "Oh that's completely understandable. Do they know what they're having?" Lilian asked. "A boy." Kara said. "Oh a boy! How exciting!" Eve gushed. "Yes..our boys are at the age where parents are not cool, so they've decided to go with their friends." Lex said. "Well they're teenagers Lex, what do you expect? You were the same at their age." Lionel replied. "Yes. I know...but I figured they'd want to spend time with their cousin." Lex replied.
"She's not even one yet, of course they don't want to hang out with her." Kara replied. "Besides there will be other times in the future for them to spend time together." Lena replied as she began feeding Morgan some peas. "Exactly." Kara said. "What else does she like?" Lillian asked. "Oh she likes just about everything..." Lena replied. "Except for apricots, she does not like those at all!" Kara added. "You're just mad because she spat them up on your face..." Lena teased. "And you laughed at me!" Kara grumbled. "Well..it was funny." Lena replied with a smile.
After dinner Kara took Morgan upstairs to clean her up from dinner while Lena helped Eliza, Lilian and Eve do the dishes up. "So are you two planning on more kids?" Eve asked. "Yes, now that Kara's gonna be working from home now we've decided to go see our doctor after this little vacation and get the process started again." Lena said. "Oh how exciting!" Eve gushed. A few minutes later Kara returned with Morgan in her arms and joined Lex and Lionel on the sofa. As she sat down Morgan reached out for Lex who quickly took her from Kara's arms and held his niece in his arms.
