Kara and Lena returned downstairs and into the living room where Lilian and Eliza sat with Morgan in between them. "How's she doing?" Kara asked as she approached her daughter who was moving her arms up and down in a way that meant she wanted up's. "She's been good, but it looks like she missed you." Eliza said. "Did you miss mommy little penguin?" Kara cooed as she picked up Megan. "How was town?" Liliana asked. "It was ok." Kara replied not sure of what to say about her experience with Eve.
She sat opposite them and held Morgan in her arms as she cuddled into Kara's chest. "Looks like you really did miss me hmm bug?" Kara whispered as Morgan nodded slowly. "Are you hungry?" Kara asked. "She had lunch while you were out and drank two cups of grape juice." Lilian said. Kara looked down at Morgan who smiled. "You silly girl..you're not hungry." Kara said with a smile. Just then Lena came in and told her she was going outside for a bit. "I'll be right here when you get back." Kara replied.
"Where is she off to?" Eliza asked. "She said she's going outside for a bit." Kara said. "Has Sam had her baby yet?" Lilian asked. "Not yet. They're at the hospital now though...so I'm sure it won't be long." Eliza said. "I hope it goes well..." Kara said just as Lionel walked in with Eve close behind him. "Hey everyone!" Lionel greeted with a smile. Morgan was now asleep in Kara's arms tired from lunch and comfortable on her mommy's lap. "Where's Lena?" Eve asked. "She went for a walk outside. I'm gonna bring her upstairs and lay her down in bed." Kara said as she ran her hand over Morgan's sleeping back before standing up and leaving the room.
Meanwhile down by the lake shore Lena was talking to Lex about what Kara told her earlier. "You're right...I'll start going home earlier when we leave here." Lex said. "Don't tell me that Lex. You have to tell that to your wife, and prove it to her! Try taking her out on more dates...show her you still love her. You do still lover her right?" Lena growled. "Yes! I still love her! I'm just trying my best to give her everything she wants!" Lex yelled. "She doesn't want you waisting money on her Lex! She wants you to spend time with her! Get off work early! Cook on the fucking weekends! Bring her breakfast in bed! Fuck! It's not that difficult Lex!" Lena shouted.
Lex looked out at the lake before turning to his sister again. "I'll start tonight...I'll take her out to town...go on a dinner date...and I'll give my CFO more responsibility's...and start spending more time at home." Lex sighed. "Good! Now come on..my wife's back and I'm going to go spend time with her and our daughter. You should go spend time with Eve..maybe take her for a walk along the lake shore." Lena hummed as she began walking back towards the house.
