Two weeks after bringing Morgan home the new moms fell into a quick routine. Kara would get up most nights with her while Lena took over while Kara slept in. This morning Kara was sleeping in while Lena took their daughter out to the kitchen to make some breakfast for them. "Mommy's sleeping...so we're gonna make breakfast for her..yes we are..." Lena cooed. Be for Lena started the bacon however she took Morgan into the living room and lay her in the bassinet. "You be good now darling...don't go waking up mommy." Lena whispered before she walked back into the kitchen again.
Lena was just about finished with breakfast when Morgan started screaming from the living room. She quickly shut everything off and ran to the living room to pick her up. "Shh I'm here...I'll get you a bottle.." Lena cooed. Meanwhile upstairs Kara was getting out of bed and making her way downstairs. She heard the crying coming from their daughter and knew that Lena was busy with breakfast so she scurried downstairs to help out.
Upon entering the kitchen she saw Lena with Morgan while she tried feeding her and plating up food. "Here love...let me see her. You finish plating up the food." Kara said. "Oh Kara! I meant for you to sleep in..." Lena said. "And I did. Now I'll take Morgan and feed her." Kara replied. Lena passed her over and continued plating up their food all the while Kara sat down and fed Morgan. "There...you was a hungry girl hmmm...yes you was...now let's get you burped so mommy and momma can eat." Kara whispered.
"How is it?" Lena asked. "It's really good Lee! Thank you for this." Kara replied with a smile. "You're welcome darling." Lena replied. "She's sleeping again..." Kara whispered as looked down at her arms. "Well..thats good. I'm sorry she woke you up...shes got a good set of lungs." Lena said. "Yes she does...You go ahead and go shower, I'll put her down and do the dishes up."Kara said with a smile. "Ok...then I'll take her again..." Lena replied as she headed off upstairs.
