While Kara and Lena were dealing with pregnancy issues Lillian and Eliza began planning Kara's baby shower. "Ok so Kara's been eating more and more spicy food now, so we'll have to incorporate that into the menu." Eliza said. "Alright! I'll add some of that to the menu along with lobster macaroni and cheese." Lilian said. "Alright. Now let's go look at the balloon store and get the balloon arch's ordered." Eliza added as they got back into the suv.
Meanwhile back in National City Kara and Lena were busy setting up the big furniture for the nursery when Lena's phone rang. "It's Lilian." Lena said. "Hello dear!" Lilian greeted. "Hey Mom! What's up?" Lena asked. "I was wondering if you and Kara are available next weekend." Lilian said. "Hold on mom...let me ask." Lena replied as she put the phone down on the table and pressed speaker phone. "Kara? Are ok to go to mom's this weekend?" Lena asked. "Yea...as long as I don't have to walk a lot." Kara replied. "You won't have to walk dear, I'll have a chair all set for you." Lilian stated. "That works for me." Kara replied. "Me too! What day this weekend?" Lena asked. "Come Friday after work and I'll have dinner ready and the first floor guest room setup for you two so Kara doesn't have to walk up the stairs." Lilian added. "Ok! We'll be there!" Lena said. "Oh good! I look forward to it!" Lilian replied before ending the call. "So we're going to Lilian's this weekend, that will be nice! I'm excited to get out of the house." Kara said. Lena smiled at her wife. "Me too! I think it'll be good to get away from her for a little bit." Lena replied.
Back in the suv Lilian and Eliza were finalizing the details on the baby shower. "Ok so the girls are on for this weekend, so while they're arriving the workers will set everything up in the in the ballroom. I'll make sure the doors stay shut till Saturday afternoon. Everyone is gonna be pulling in the front, except for Lena and Kara who I'll have park out back, since it's closer to the downstairs guest room." Lilian replied. "Ok good!" Eliza replied. "Everyone will arrive Saturday afternoon and wait in the ballroom till it's time." Lilian added. "Then we'll go blindfolds our girls telling them we have a surprise to show them and we'll lead them to the ballroom." Eliza said. "Yes!" Lilian said. "Perfect." Eliza replied.
