He's over protective

Harry and I decided to take a little vacation from our daughter Mailey for a few days but unfortunately...we had no one to watch her so we brought her with. Because we brought her with finding a vacation spot was very difficult with a 4 year old. Going to grandmas house wasn't something we had in mind so the closest, safest, nicest place we found was Los Angeles Californa...okay so maybe it isn't "close" to England but it's the best we could find plus Harry has a vacation home here...we've been here for a day and a half and Mailey is loving it. She met 3 celebrities she loves. And we're already on the front page of a magazine. It's so easy to get caught here. The magazine article is so cliche. It says: Harry Styles and wife (Y/N) of 6 years along with daughter Mailey visit Los Angeles for the first time as a family.

While that may be true, who really cares if we're here. Apparently not a lot of people, only 2 girls have came up to us and asked for pictures. Mainly with Mailey and Harry but it's cool. I would have expected a bunch of girls surrounding us but this isn't a hotel, it's Harry's house and there's no way they kind find us, it's hidden in a secret place.

"Harry! Get Mailey ready we're going to the beach" I call to him from our room putting on my bikini.

"What?" He asks coming in.

"I said, get Mailey ready for the beach."

"The beach...this early?"

"It's 12 pm"

"We should be in bed"

"Is Mailey?"

"No..."

"Than no we shouldn't. Come on Harry, this is a vacation...we're only here for a week. Can we please spend it doing stuff we don't usually do at home. It's October so back in England it's cold and gloomy but here we can surf and have fun. Please just be a good husband and father and spend it having fun"

"I know it's just hard to relax and have fun when I have fans always coming up to me or paparazzi."

"They love you and they're sorry." I apologize for his fans. He rolls his eyes and goes back into Maileys room. I put my favorite beach cardigan. I pull my hair up into a tight bun and go into Maileys room.

"Hey Mailey!!!" I smile at her and she runs up to me in her little flower swim suit.

"Morning mommy" she sings and jumps in my arms,

"It's 12 in the afternoon." I laugh.

"It's morning to me"

"Don't get use to sleeping in this late when we get back home you'll be awake by 10 am...got it"

"Yes. Got it" she hugs me tightly.

"Now give me a kiss" I order and she puckers her lips to give me a kiss. I peck her lips and set her down. "Where's dad?" I ask.

"Getting my floats" she informs me pointing to the bathroom. I go to the bathroom and open the door to find Harry digging through our daughters bag "Harry...there right here" I laugh pulling the floats from the small zipper part.

"What would I do without you?" He chuckles.

"Die" I laugh with him. He blows them up and put them on our daughters arms. I hand her her sun glasses and grab mine. Harry puts his trunks on and puts his hair into his famous bun then grabs each of us a towel.

"Ready?" I ask and they both nod. Mailey grabs Harry's hand and we walk down to the car. After the 10 minute drive to the beach once we get there we all rush to the water. I hope we can have fun and not get noticed. After a little fun in the water, with Mailey splashing us a lot I see a group of girls coming up to us and I sigh. It's not that I don't like them it's that we're trying to have fun. I make my way away from the girls and to our blankets to relax as I watch Harry and Mailey talk and take pictures with the girls.

Harry's pov

I'm having such a good time playing with my daughter and wife. This is the best thing ever. Mailey continues to splash us, I pull (y/n) behind me to protect her from the splashes. She holds tight on to me and squeaks when the water reaches her. Soon she releases me and goes to our spot on the beach. I'm confused when I see a group of girls come over to me. I hold Mailey close to me as they come closer to me.

"Omg! Harry! It's so great to see you! I've never been so happy...hi Mailey!" The blonde girl says.

"Can I get a hug please?" The brunette girl asks crying. I smile and pull her close. "I'm sorry..."

"It's alright love." I let go.

"How about a group picture." The 3rd girl says.

"Alright" I pick Mailey up and we huddle together and take a picture.

"Thanks!" They all say and leave. When they walk away I see (y/n) talking to a tall man with slick back hair. He isn't ever dressed for the beach, looks like her just got out of a business meeting.

"Hey Mailey...see that guy talking to mommy." I ask.

"Yes"

"We don't like him..lim just going to talk to him. Will you stay here for me?" I ask.

"Yes daddy" she smiles and sits down to play in the sand. I walk closer to them with an angry look.

"Excuse me mate, there's been a mistake. She's not single" I inform him. He looks at me then at (y/n) and laughs, so does she.

"Harry! This is an old friend from high school. His name is Steven." She giggles.

"Okay...what's so funny" I ask pulling her closer to me. I don't care who he is, any man that looks like that shouldn't be near my wife.

"He's gay...where's Mailey" her laugh goes to serious.

"Over there..." I point to our daughter who gives me a thumbs up. I give her one back. I turn back to them and (y/n) give me a serious look.

"You are too over protective...you left our 4 year old to come see if a guy was hitting on me. You need to protect Mailey more than me"

"I can protect both of you...there's no choice. Mailey is fine. Right now you're the one who needs to be protected." I warn her.

"From what?! A gay guy...oh no better hide myself. Right now he's probably looking at you more than me."

"He's not my type...I'm not into the tattoos" he points out.

"What? You don't think I'm hot...the tattoos are the reason (y/n) even fell in love with me" I tell him.

"Good for her. I'm just not into that" he shrugs. I roll my eyes and go back to Mailey.

"All good?" She asks.

"All good. Let's go splash some more" I hold her hand and we go back to the water.

You're too over protective. The words flash in my mind...how am I too over protective over what's mine.
