Soccer is the true noble sport of the world, the one sport played on all seven continents. It has the power to bring people together, and it also has the power to tear them apart (if you've ever had an argument with someone over a soccer team, you know what I mean). A Red Sox fan can be friends with a Yankees Fan (I'm living proof of that), but a Man City fan cannot be friends with a Man U fan. Soccer has given the world some strong women. I'm talking the U.S. Women's National Team: Abby Wambach, Carli Lloyd, Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, and others. Soccer is an amazing, but it's not for the faint of heart. Three quotes come to mind when I hear the word "soccer", and they're all from t-shirts: 1. "No grass stains no glory, no bruises no story." 2. "If you can't play nice, play soccer." 3. "What the hell is an 'offseason'?" soccer is a brutal sport. It has rigorous training sessions and crazy fouls *cough cough* Luis Suarez *cough cough*. In a pickup game of, say, basketball, they'll say "no blood, no foul", which means: "okay, we'll call a foul if you fall down". In a pickup game of soccer, when they say "no blood, no foul", they mean "we won't call a foul unless you are actually bleeding, and maybe not even then". All in all, soccer is one of my favorite sports, right up there with archery and fencing. I love the sport, I love the players, and I love the culture. ALL HAIL THE FIGHTING CHUPACABRAS! ST. LOUIS TILL I DIE!

If you know two people who are friends, and one person is a Man City fan, and the other is a Man U fan, let me know.
