Tobin's P.O.V.

"We got her out." Abby said over the phone. "Are you bringing her back here?" I asked. "No." Abby said. "What?" I asked. "Why not?" "Well, the woman who kidnapped her gave her a pretty nasty throat wound." Abby said. "She's in the hospital. You can come see her." "Ok. I'm coming." I said. My heart felt like it was breaking in two. I couldn't bear to think about the fact that I might lose Thalia forever. I got to the hospital and walked up to Thalia's room. The whole team was there, and they let me sit down next to Thalia, who was lying in the bed with IVs pumping fluids into her and an oxygen mask over her nose and mouth. A line of jagged sutures ran across her throat, and her eyes were closed. The team hugged me as I sat down next to her bed and took one of her small hands in mine. "Guys, you should probably go." Abby said. The team nodded, and walked out. Soon, it was only Abby, Hope, and me in the room. "I'm sorry, Tobin." Abby said. "We did the best we could." I turned around and threw my arms around her, crying into her chest. Abby wrapped her arms around me, rubbing my back. "I can't take it, Abby!" I sobbed. "I can't take it, knowing that I might lose her forever!" suddenly I heard a weak, raspy voice behind me. "Please stop, Toby." it said. I froze. There was only one person on the team that called me Toby, and it wasn't Abby or Hope. "Please stop crying, Toby." the voice said. "I don't like it when you cry." I slowly disentangled myself from Abby and turned around. Thalia's bright green eyes were open, and she was smiling under the oxygen mask. "Thalia!" I said. "You're awake!" Hope ran out to get the doctor, and Abby and I stayed in the room with Thalia. "What happened?" Thalia asked, running her hand over the row of sutures on her throat. "That crazy bitch tried to slit your throat." Abby said. "But we got you here in time. You're gonna be okay." "I'm glad." Thalia said, and we all smiled.
