Prompt: can you do one where Thalia gets bullied on the team but when someone on the team hears her on the phone with a doctor who's telling Thalia that her best friend died, Tobin like becomes her best friend and then they get together.
Most of the team hated Thalia. The tiny forward didn't know why, she just knew they hated her. Maybe it was because she was the youngest, maybe it was because she was the new girl, she wasn't sure. She got pushed and shoved in the halls, and got kicked and fouled on the field. Tobin was her head tormentor and Moe, JJ, and Press were her only friends. She was always covered in bruises, but she didn't let her pain show. No matter what, she kept her head high. One day at dinner, the small girl got a call on her phone and went to the conference room to answer it. After twenty minutes, she wasn't back, so Moe went to check on her. To her surprise, she found Thalia sitting on the floor with her knees pulled up to her chest, sobbing. Moe wrapped her arms around Thalia's small body. "What's wrong, Jedi?" she asked. "My best friend." Thalia sobbed. "She's gone. She's dead." "I'm so sorry, Thalia." Moe said, rubbing Thalia's back. When Thalia had calmed down a bit, she and Moe went back into the dining hall. Tobin came over to them, smirking. "Hey, Skywalker." she said. "Who made you cry? I want to send them flowers." "Shut up, Tobin!" Moe snapped. "What?" Tobin asked, taken aback. "I said shut up!" Moe snapped. "Ever since Thalia joined the team, you've made her life hell. Her best friend just died, so leave her alone for once!" Thalia stood up. "I need to go on a walk." she said "See you later, Moe." as soon as Thalia was out of earshot, Moe rounded on Tobin. "I can't believe you, Heath!" she yelled. "Why the hell would you do that?!" "I'm sorry." Tobin said. "I didn't know." "You're not sorry, and you know it!" Moe yelled. "And I'm not just talking about just now. Why do you feel that it's necessary to make Thalia's life harder than it has to be?! What did she ever do to you?! Huh?!" the whole dining hall was silent. No one had ever seen Moe like that, and it scared a lot of them. "I-" Tobin said, then stopped. "You what?!" Moe snapped. "I love her." Tobin said. "Then why the hell do you bully her all the time?!" Moe demanded. "Because I was trying to convince myself that I didn't love her." Tobin said. "You have an apology to make." Moe said, glaring at the older middy. "She's probably up on Table Lookout. That's where she usually goes when she needs to clear her head." Tobin nodded and walked out into the cool spring air, going up the trail behind the Lodge. She found Thalia sitting on a cliff with her legs over the ledge, looking up at the stars. "Hey." Tobin said. Thalia turned around. When she saw Tobin, she glared at her, her bright green eyes puffy and bloodshot from crying. "What do you want?!" she hissed. "Come to take another dig at me? Go on, then! See what I care! It's not like I'm human or anything! It's not like I have feelings!" a stab of guilt went through Tobin, listening to Thalia voice the way she'd been treating the youngest forward. "I'm not here to take another dig at you." she said. "I'm here to apologize. After you left, Moe yelled at me hardcore. I'm really sorry for all I've done to you or said to you. You're a good kid, and you don't deserve this shit I've thrown at you." "If you don't think I deserve this shit, than why do you keep throwing it at me?!" Thalia demanded. "Because I love you." Tobin said. "I love you, and I've been trying to convince myself I didn't love you. But it didn't work. You probably don't feel the same way about me, but I had to tell you how I feel." "Tobin, I feel the same way." Thalia said. "I know I should hate you for all you've done to me, but I don't. I can't. I love you. But can you promise that this isn't just a cruel trick?" Tobin drew an "X" over her heart with her finger. "Cross my heart." she said. She sat down next to Thalia and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Thalia winced slightly as Tobin's arm came into contact with her many bruises. "Sorry." Tobin said. "I forgot how bad I hurt you." Thalia shrugged. "I've gotten used to the pain." she said. Tobin leaned down and kissed her. "I'm sorry." she said. "You're forgiven." Thalia said.
