"Tobin, why did you choose me?" Thalia asked sleepily. "What?" I asked. "Why did you choose me?" Thalia asked. "You could've had your pick of people to date. Why me?" "Because you're beautiful, kind, badass, and completely immature in the best way possible." I said. "I'm not beautiful." Thalia said. "That's a lie, Thalia Skywalker, and you know it." I said. Thalia shook her head, and fell asleep on me. I kissed her temple gently, and texted Alex, Pinoe, and Syd.

The next morning, I woke up early and got out of bed. "Where are you going, Toby?" a sleepy voice asked. "Out to get breakfast." I said, kissing Thalia's forehead. "Go back to sleep." she nodded and curled up in the blanket, falling asleep again. I got dressed and went out to a jewelry store. I found the necklace that I'd shown the girls the previous night, and bought it for Thalia. On the way home, I stopped and got donuts for us. I walked into the bedroom with the donuts on two plates and kissed Thalia awake. "Morning, beautiful." I said. "Morning, Toby." Thalia said, kissing my cheek. I couldn't keep a smile off my face. Damn, this girl made my heart melt. "I brought donuts." I said, handing one of the plates to her. We watched cartoons while we ate, then sat on the bed for a couple hours longer, still watching cartoons. Eventually, I got up. "Let's go down to the park and play some soccer." I said. "One on one." "Sounds great." Thalia said. She got dressed in a training shirt and basketball shorts, then grabbed her soccer bag. We walked to the park down the street and put on our cleats and shinguards. I let her start off with the ball, and we played to ten points. We tied, and went back home. On the way back, we stopped by GameStop and I bought her Portal 2. We had lunch, and then I put the FIFA disc in the Xbox and handed Thalia the other controller. We spent the next few hours playing, laughing, and good naturedly cussing each other out. "What next?" Thalia asked. "Pizza, ice cream, and Star Wars." I said, grinning at her. She grinned as well. "Sounds great." she said. I ordered pizza, and we brought blankets down and sat on the couch, eating pizza and watching Star Wars. "I have one more thing." I said once the movie was over. "Oh, Tobin." Thalia said. "You don't have to do anything else for me. You've already done so much." "Just one more thing." I said. "Close your eyes." Thalia did as she was told, and I took the necklace out of the box in my pocket and hung it around her neck. I then guided her to a mirror. "Open your eyes." I said. Thalia did, and gasped. "It's perfect." she said. "Just like you." I said. "I'm not perfect." Thalia protested. "You are to me." I said.
