Why do I behave so wierd whenever I'm with her..
Manik was confused about what he felt for her. But somewhere inside he knew there was something deep. Just that he didn't want to accept . He knew he could not afford another relationship or trap in his language. Past the 2 years he didn't come across anyone that could make him feel so hard. Everyday he used to pretend to have forgotten what all happened but with this girl around he did forget everything. His pain. His heartbreak. Everything felt normal when she was around.. Her smile made him feel relax.
Manik:you're over thinking.. Relax.. Calm down.. Just go with the flow as always..
he told himself and moved out of the kitchen.
Mukti:kaha tha..
Manik:vo..
Cabir:paani peene gya tha.. Haina
He smirked.
Manik:uhh haan..
Aliya:guys i have an idea..
Mukti:what's it..
Aliya:We in pairs would perform.. As in sing..
Mukti:pairs.. Okay then who'll decide the pairs..
Dhruv:i'll make chits.. And since we are seven.. We'll do it one by one..
Nandini:matlab..
Dhruv:matlab yeh ki.. Like i pick a chit out of the seven.. And i get you.. Then pehle we'll perform.. Then you'll pick a chit.. And aise hi jiske naam ki chit tum uthaogi usse pehle tumhare saath perform karna hoga and then usse bh ek chit uthani hogi.. Samjhe..
Everyone looked at each other and agreed.
Soon the chits were ready.
Aliya:so who'll come first..
Navya:Nandu tum jao.. Tum bhot achha gaati ho please jao..
Nandini:nahi.. Not now..
Mukti:cmon yrr.. Dont be spoil sport..
Cabir:haan Nandini aao..
Manik:are you like scared..
He smirked.
Nandini:scared.. Of what..
Manik:you know.. We are such a great brand.. So well known.. Are you scared of singing in front of us.. Dont worry.. We won't judge..
He said and grinned evilly.
Nandini:am not scared..
Manik:prove it.. Pick up a chit..
He forwarded the bowl of chits towards her and she instantly grabbed a chit..
Dhruv:kiska naam hai..
Cabir:i just hope iss Madhubala ka ho.. Maza aayega..
Nandini opened the chit and was shocked. She looked at everyone and then at Manik who was confused by her looks.
Navya:Nandu.. Kiska hai.. Bolo naa..
Nandini:umm voo..
Aliya and Mukti:kisi bhut ka hai kya..
Nandini:bhut ka ni Monster ka hai..
She mumbled almost inaudible but Navya heard it.
Navya:hain? Monster..
Nandini looked at her as if trying to shut her up. But Manik had heard Navya. He became alert and had a bit of smile on his face. Navya:Nanduu.. Bolo bhi..
Nandini:it is Manik..
Everybody hooted. But Nandini was nervous while Manik smirked.
All:cmon we are giving you five minutes.. Get ready..
Nandini and Manik sat together and discussed the song and were ready within time..
Manik tuned his guitar and started singing..

Cabir:Madhubala.. Tareef baad mein.. Monster.. I.. Mean Manik apni chit utha..
Cabir teased him.. While Nandini looked at them wide eyed. And Dhruv giggled.
Manik glared at him while struggling to pick the chit.
Cabir:bro.. Jaldi kar.. Itna time nhi hai pass karne ke liye..
Manik finally took out a chit and opened it. As soon as he saw the name he rolled his eyes and looked at Cabir..
Manik:Cabir!
He said and displayed the chit..
Cabir:haan toh tujhe dubaara ummeed thi ki tu Nan..
Manik glared at him and Cabir giggled.
Soon they were on their song.
Cabir on the drums and Manik on guitar.

Cabir started.

Just as they finished Nandini received a call and she went out.
Everyone including Navya clapped hard..
Navya:tumne toh bilkul pharratedaar.. Dhamakedaar.. Gaya.. Hum toh sach mein tum logo ke fan bante jaa rhe hai..

He said just then Nandini walked in..
Nandini:guyzz I'll have to leave.. Bhot late ho gya hai.. Chacha chachi are getting tensed.. Unhi ka call tha..
Navya:arrey haann.. Hum masti karne mein itte busy ho gye ki hume time ka pta hi ni chala... Humari hostel vaali toh hume hostel se bahar phek degi.. Hum chalte hai tumhare saath..
Mukti and Dhruv:guyzz! So soon..
Nandini:we'll meet you in the college tomorrow pakka....
Manik:fine come I'll accompany you till the parking.
Cabir:yaah sure!
He whispered in his ears while he glared at him.
The three walked down while the rest stayed up.
Manik:so you thought..
Manik said slowing down a bit while Navya walked ahead dreamily.
Nandini:about what..
She asked innocently..
Manik:about us..
Nandini:isn't it too soon to think about Us..we've just met..
Manik:i don't think so.. So cmon tell me what are we.. Friends..
Nandini:maybe..maybe not.. I dont know.. You tell me..
Manik:i don't think we are friends..
Nandini:why..
She innocently asked and he looked at her deeply. She couldn't get the answer but a bit of a hint of it.. It made her shy..
Manik:so now.. Tell me what do you see..
Nandini:happiness..
Manik:you got your answer..
Nandini:hint of it..
Manik:what is it..
Nandini:I'll tell you but not today..
She smiled and Manik came closer..
Manik:but i wanna know it now.. He said and held her softly by her waist which made her conscious.
Nandini:i need to go..
Manik:first tell me..
He leaned nearer and whispered. Nandini:goodnight..
She whispered back and slowly slipped out of his grip shying. He stood confused at what happened but soon a smile captured his face. He looked at Nandini who was running towards Navya but he could see a broad, beautiful smile on her face.
Soon Nandini sat inside her car gave a last glance to Manik, smiled and drove away while Manik understood all her antics and smiled even broader and then slowly walked back while murmuring to himself.
Manik:I'll do everything to get that answer out of you..
