Freddie's P.O.V.

It had been a week since my tiff with Brian, the atmosphere didn't pick up the whole time we were there and when we got back to the house he just took himself off to his room. And I'm supposed to be the one who storms off.

On the other hand things had been going marvellously. The album was picking up speed, we had two more songs to record and then we had a month in between to mix the songs and add or record any new stuff we wanted.

Living with the boys got easier and more enjoyable everyday, we'd all found our place in our little home and everyone dug in to do the jobs none of us wanted to do...like cleaning.

Roger and John were basically a couple now. Although when I asked them they both said it wasn't 'official' yet but they're not kidding anyone, they've been on about 6 dates, they're practically joined at the hip.

I'd visited Charlie a few more times, I wanted to befriend him because I actually liked the guy...and every time I saw him I just thought he was that little bit more attractive. He was such a pleasant human being and we got along swimmingly. He'd even snapped out of the starstruck phase and acted like I was a nobody...even dropping the odd flirtatious comment, which set it in stone for me. He was gay. And...dare I say, he was into me.

I think I'm into him too.

I was also still into Brian, still more so than Charlie. Brian had been a little nicer to me since we'd gone back to work, he was sometimes difficult to work with, he was so fucking stubborn but I was the weakling because for some strange reason his stubbornness was a turn on.

"Freddie?! It's Charlie!" Deaky called from down the stairs and I ran down to grab the phone off him, a slight flutter going on in my heart.

"Hello?" I grinned.

"Hey, Fred, it's Charlie." He chuckled.

"Hello, darling, how are you? Is everything okay?" I asked, twiddling the phone wire in my other hand as I grinned like a goon.

"I'm good, you? Everything's fine! I just wanted to ask if you...fancied hanging out? Take me to one of these gay clubs you told me about?" There was a massive amount of shyness in his voice but it was adorable.

I gasped at his sudden request, "Oh, tonight?" Roger and John were off out again tonight, meaning Brian would be in on his own...fuck it. I haven't been to one of the clubs in ages! "Of course! That sounds great, I'm about due for a good pissed up shimmy!"

He giggled at my response, "Amazing! I can't wait, come over about 9?"

"Sure, I'll be there. See you later!" I put the phone down, a sweat had come across me.

I walked into the living room and was caught off guard by Deaky and Roger both stood with their arms crossed staring at me coldly.

I questioned them with my eyes.

"What was that about?" Deaky interrogated.

"What do you mean? It was Charlie, he asked if I wanted to go out tonight..." their stares were quite patronising.

"You're going?" Deaks questioned.

"Yes...I've nothing else to do..."

"You can't, Freddie! You can't hook up with him!" Roger wailed.

"And why the fuck not?" I crossed my arms too to match their challenging postures.

"What about Brian?!" He shrieked.

"What about him?" I rolled my eyes.

"Don't give up on him, Fred."
John's voice was a lot more calmer than Rogers shrill one.
