Well behaved baby

"Ma!" Matthew squeals as he sees Niamh.

"Hello sweetheart" she smiles as she takes him off Naomi and sits down while Joe gets her a drink and some neurofen.

Niamh kisses Matthew was as he cuddles into her. "Where you a good boy for Auntie Naomi?" Niamh coos and Matthew holds onto her top and rests his head on her.

"He was golden... Such a cutie" Naomi says.

Niamh smiles, "he wakened as soon as I came downstairs, no crying or anything" Joe says.

"Did we pick the right baby up at the nursery last week?" Niamh laughs.

Joe laughs, "he likes being up here" she smiles a little.

Niamh smiles and cuddles Matthew. Mathew looks up at Niamh red in the face with his hand clenched in fists, "are you filling your nappy rascal?" Niamh laughs.

"Hmm lets get daddy to change this one" Niamh says.

Matthew looks at Niamh and starts to cry as he's uncomfortable, he kicks his legs and clings to Niamh's top.

Niamh stands up and Matthew pulls her top down as she walks through to Joe.

"Oh dear what's wrong?" he asks.

"Nappy" Niamh says. "He's pooed" Niamh says as she kisses Matthew's head to try and settle him down.

"Why can't you do it?" Joe asks.

"Joe she's ill, help her out" Mary says.

"Fine pass him here" Joe says.

"What's wrong gurny gub?" Joe coos as Matthew cries even more and reaches for Niamh.

Joe gets the clean nappy and wipes out and starts to change his nappy. "Too many bananas this morning me thinks Matthew James Walsh eh?" Joe coos as he gets him changed and stands him up on his feet and kisses his cheek.

He squeals and looks at Niamh as Joe passes him up to her. He sits back down on the sofa, "how you feeling Niamh?" Mary asks as Naomi comes into them all.

"Little bit better, just very tried" niamh replies.

Mary smiles, "you look a little brighter" Joe smiles.

Niamh smiles and puts Matthew bottoms back on him. "Come till I see you and give mummy peace" Joe says as he takes Matthew from her. Matthew frowns at Joe.

Niamh passes Matthew to Joe and sits down. "We'll head off soon" John says as he comes back in. Niamh nods and smiles.

"Oh Niamh, mum seems to think Matthew has cut a tooth, well I've seen it but I'm not too sure" Joe says.

"What really?" Niamh says suprised.

Joe nods and puts his finger in Matthews mouth again and feels for it. Matthew giggles and sucks Joe's finger.

"Yep he has lower, central tooth I think" Joe says.

"He's getting a big boy, I just want mt little baby back" she says as she coughs loudly which frightens Matthew and he looks at her stunned.

"Oh dear look at the face" Naomi laughs.

"Dear oh dear" Mary says as Matthew starts to whimper.

Matthew watches as Niamh sneezes three times in a row. Niamh blows her nose and Matthew tries to get away and nearly falls off Niamh's lap.

"Joe!" Niamh panics as she has no hands free.

Joe grabs Matthew by his T-shirt and Matthew squeals wth delight. Mary laughs, "well done daddy" she smiles.

Matthew looks at Joe and smiles, "Shall we get going then?" John asks as Jamie arrives.

Niamh gets up and sighs "well let's get going" she says.

Joe grabs the nappy bag and lifts Matthew and heads out to the car, "does your brother have a child?" Niamh asks as she sees a girl in thr back of his car.

"I'm not sure, Jamie?" Joe says.

"Yeah look there's a child in the car" Niamh says.

"Who's the kid?" Joe asks Jamie.

"Ella? My daughter" Jamie says.

"Oh right since when?" Joe says.

"Since around eight years ago" Jamie smirks.

"I swear Joe, you need to keep in touch more, we've missed you all lot's!" Jamie says.

"Totally" Joe says a little shocked.

"Totally is right" Niamh says quite shocked too.

"We do though Joe, look at you getting the fittest actress on Holby pregnant" Jamie mutters to Joe.

Niamh laughs a little as she overhears Jamie.

Joe smiles and follows Niamh out to their car. "You're rather fit yourself" Niamh smirks as she gets into the car.

"Not as much as you lady" Joe smiles as Niamh secures Matthew in his chair.

"No you're wrong, sure look at me now" she laughs as she blows her nose.

Joe smiles as Niamh gets into the front "hello beautiful" he smirks.

Niamh puts her seatbelt on and looks up at him, "hello" she giggles.

Joe turns the engine on and follows Jamie who's in his car. "How you feeling?" Joe asks as he strokes her knee.

"Good" Cara smiles

"Neurofen help then?" Joe asks and Niamh nods a little.
