Sainsburys

A few days later Niamh has finally gotten over the jet lag and she's preparing to send Matthew to school for the first time tomorrow.

"Do you think I'm forgetting something" she asks Joe as she gets his bag ready for the morning.

"Niamh babe... he's going into reception not secondary school, just make sure there's a few spares in clothes for the first few weeks...that's what the school letter said" Joe replies.

Niamh sighs "I just want to make sure everything is right for his first day" she says and puts his bag down.

"I know you do now come here and give your husband a cuddle and some loving" Joe says.

Niamh smiles and walks over to Joe and wraps her arms around him. "I think I'm liking you being called my husband" she smiles as she hears his heart beat through his chest.

"I know calling you my wife after you being my 'fiancée' for four years is crazy" he chuckles and kisses her head as well as stroking her back.

"And I could not love you more" she smiles looking up at him. "I still remember when you proposed, Matthew was only little" she smiles.

"Two months old to be accurate" he smiles as he sits down on the sofa and pulls Niamh down onto his lap.

"Yeah it's crazy to think that" she giggles a little as she plays with the back of his hair.

She looks at him lovingly and kisses him passionately, just then Matthew bursts in and Niamh pulls away from Joe's lips and looks at Matthew.

"You ok matty?" She questions.

He nods and sits in the middle of the room and grabs his fire engine toy he was playing with earlier.

Niamh smiles and rolls her eyes playfully as she turns to Joe again. She kisses him once more before getting up.

"Where you off too?" Joe asks.

"Somewhere you're not" she laughs and heads back into the kitchen.

He shakes his head and smiles and goes over to Matthew, kissing his head. He stands again and goes to see to Niamh.

"So what you cooking?" Joe asks as he watches Niamh search the cupboards.

"I don't even know... we have hardly anything here for a good dinner, we might just have to have something simple" she sighs.

"Well we could go shopping, Sainsbury's is open until 11pm and we could pick up pizza for tea?" Joe suggests.

"Yes please, I can't deal with nothing in the cupboards" she says.

"Right that's settled I'll drive you get Matthew ready" Niamh smiles.

She nods and turning to head to Matthew's room. She sees him playing with his toys, "Matty we're going to get dinner, come and put your shoes on please" she asks him.

"What are we having?" He smiles.

"We're going shopping first then we'll get pizza" she smiles.

"Okay" he says cheerfully and gets up from the floor and moves passed Niamh and goes downstairs.

He puts his shoes on and stands watching Joe messing with his wallet. He puts it back in his pocket and smiles "you ready? Where's mummy?" Joe asks.

"I'm right here" Niamh smiles as she meets them at the door.

They head outside and out to the car, Joe gets Matthew into the car and makes sure he's buckled in properly.

Joe gets seated in the front along with Niamh and he starts the car to head out.
