Roll cameras part 2

Before you hit the deck

Once she's finished she sets the machine off for ten minutes and leaves them, Joe comes to Niamh's side and leans in and kisses her passionately.
Niamh moves her hand to his cheek and smiles as Joe pulls away, leaving their foreheads connected.

"I love you" he mumbles.

"I love you too" she mutters, his words sending her giddy with love.

She smiles and kisses him again, "happy birthday handsome man" she smiles.

He strokes her cheek and goes back in and kisses her. He deepens it a little and Niamh stops him. "Public place" she mumbles which Joe chuckles at.

"We could of had some fun tonight, if you didn't decide to hit the deck on the tube" Joe mumbles and kisses her nose.

"I erm... don't think I've got plans tomorrow lunch time... and I know you've got the afternoon off" she says and runs circles on his shirt with her finger.

"Hmm, I like where this is going" Joe smirks.

"Good" she smiles again.

He kisses her again put she pushes him away a little "but... not here" she smirks.

"Where's the excitement" he smirks back and kisses her head.

She smiles and Joe slips his hand down to her stomach and strokes it, "has it moved yet?" He questions.

"I'm getting that tingly feeling... so I think I will soon" she smiles and places her hand on top of his.

"Going to keep you up all night now" Joe smiles and strokes her bump.

"Who you or the baby" Niamh laughs and sits up a little.

"Well the baby might but I'll definitely keep you up" He smirks.

"Will you now" Niamh laughs again.

"Of course" he smiles and kisses her cheek again.

"I just want to go home" Niamh sighs and leans her head back.

Joe smiles "oh I know but beat make sure this one is okay first" he smiles as the nurse comes back in.

"How are you feeling" the nurse smiles at Niamh.

"Sore... when will I get my x-ray?" Niamh asks.

"Soon, we're very busy tonight but first would you mind taking these tablets for me" the nurse says.

"What will these do?" She asks her.

"They're just to help develop babies lungs" the nurse explains as she checks the monitor.

"Are they not developing properly or something? Anything I can do at home?" Niamh asks quite fast.

"No, it's just in case we find something wrong and there's chance of a premature birth" the nurse says bluntly.

"Excuse me! No one mentioned that!" Niamh says in shock.

"Oh sorry I thought the doctor had explained" she replies and hurried off to find the doctor.

Niamh turns to Joe and closes her eyes as she lays back.

"Niamh... babe... I'm sure it's nothing" Joe smiles as he takes her hand but she snatches it away.

"You don't know that" she says.

Joe looks at her sympathetically "Niamhy please" He says and rests his hand on her small bump.

"What" she says quite sharply.

"Please don't think so negatively" Joe says.

"How can I not?" She asks as she turns to face him.

"Please be positive" he sighs.

"...what if something goes wrong" Niamh worries.

"And then he or she will receive the best medical treatment... look at me nothing is wrong" he smiles.

"You promise?" She asks.

"I can't promise nothing is going to happen but it will be ok" he reassures her.

He kisses her hand and gives her a warm smile. Soon the doctor arrives back to speak with them.

"How's my baby?" Niamh asks.

"We're about to find out, I've got a doctor a Mr Hallshaw... he's going to do another scan and have a look" the doctor smiles.

Niamh watches as he sets up and asks her to roll her too up again.

Joe sits smiling at her and she slightly cracks a smile at him. "I've read your notes Ms Walsh" he says.

"Actually I'm not that anymore that's my maiden name, I'm now McFadden" Niamh says.

"Oh I see, congratulations" he smiles.

"Thanks, we've only been married less than two months" Niamh smiles.

Joe smiles as well and continues to stroke her hand as the doctor does the scan.

He watches the screen as he moves the monitor around and they both start watching his face as he concentrates.
