They both agree and Joe goes to ask the midwife who sorts out the bathing room and gives Niamh a time now for Maisie and herself.

Niamh gets herself ready and Joe gets Maisie. They head to the wash room and a midwife comes with them just for Maisie, to supervise.

Niamh lays Maisie down and starts to undress her.

Maisie starts to cry as Niamh undressed her. "I know baby, I know it's cold" she soothes.

Joe makes sure the water isn't too hot for her and let's Niamh knows it's ready.

Niamh carefully placed Maisie in the bath at which Maisie continues to cry at. "Shh it's okay" Niamh smiles as she carefully baths her.

Joe puts his hand in the water and runs his hand over her head.

Maisie stops crying and looks up at Niamh and Joe. "I think you scared her" Niamh giggles.

"Probably" Joe laughs as they continue to wash her.

Soon as they've cleaned her they get her out the bath and dry her off. Joe let's Niamh dress her as he grabs her wash stuff and a clean towel.

"Hey baby girl, your big brother should be here soon" she coos as she dresses her.

Maisie stares up at Niamh and lets out a cute sneeze which melts Niamh's heart.

She puts her scratch mittens on and places Maisie's hat on carefully and kisses her head.

"Don't you just look adorable" she smiles and walks back over to Joe.

"Now mummy's going for a shower, be good" Niamh smiles and kisses Maisie's head as she passes her over to Joe.

Joe happily takes her and sits and talks to her as Niamh goes to have a shower.

He takes her back and sits in the chair holding her. He gets his phone out and looks through all the recent photos of Maisie.

He smiles as he goes through them all and sees the one he took of Niamh with Maisie.

He finds the photo he took of Maisie holding his finger and crops it before heading to Instagram, he uploads the photo with the caption; 'the biggest responsibility of all time. This morning myself and Niamh welcomed our baby girl into the world. We're all happy she's here and amazed how tiny she is, much love for our baby girl.'

He re-reads it and presses send then puts his phone back on the bedside.

Soon Niamh comes back in a different set of clothes and damp hair, "feeling better?" Joe smiles.

"A bit sore but so much better now" she smiles.

"That's good babe, Maisie has been so settled now she's had a bath" Joe smiles as Niamh walks over to the bed and kisses his cheek.

"What was that for" he smiles.

"Does there have to be a reason?" Niamh smiles.

"I guess not" he smiles.

She sits herself down on the bed and looks at Joe with Maisie. "She looks so tiny in your arms" she smiles hopelessly in love with them both.

"I could just watch her all day" Joe smiles.

She nods in agreement and puts a set of bed socks on as she's rather cold.

Joe's phone goes off and he passes Maisie to Niamh and looks to see Barbara has text him.

"Your Mum is downstairs with Matthew, shall I go meet them?" He asks.

"Yes please, also get me a bottle of coke please?" Niamh asks.

"Typical" Joe laughs and goes out.

Niamh places Maisie on the bed in front of her and looks down at her.

Joe gets Niamh her Coke and makes to the doors and sees Barbara holding onto Matthews hand as he looks at the drinks.

"Hello you" Joe smiles, Matthew turns around and runs straight at Joe.

"Daddy!" He squeals happily and Joe lifts him up.

"I missed you" Joe smiles.

Matthew hugs him and doesn't let go, "where's Mummy?" He asks when he realises she's not there.

"This is all I've got from him this morning" Barbara laughs as she picks up the bag from beside her.

"Mummy's upstairs would you like to go see her" Joe smiles as Matthew nods frantically.

Joe puts him down and they walk to the lift. "Can I press it" Matthew asks.

"Okay, press number two" Joe smiles happily, He presses it and holds onto Joe's hand.

"How is Niamh now?" Barbara asks breaking the silence.

"Better, she managed to have a shower this morning" he smiles.

"I bet she's sore... how many stitches?" Barbara replies.

"Ten... she apparently tared some good way, but I don't know how the baby is tiny" Joe laughs.

"I can't wait to have a cuddle" Barbara smiles.

"She's just adorable. Niamh hasn't put her down properly yet" Joe laughs.

"I bet she's in ore, beautiful baby girl" Barbara smiles as they reach the maternity ward where Niamh is.
