Joe parks up in a car park close to the beach and everyone starts to get out.

"Right Matthew, you're not to go anywhere near the sea, or the rock pools okay. It's too cold to be getting wet" Niamh speaks as she puts her wellies on and lays the law down with Matthew.

"Why not? He's got his wellies" Joe says.

"The sea looks too choppy" Niamh says as she zips Joe's coat up for him.

Joe laughs and gets hold of her hand as they all start to walk on the beach.

Jordan and Matthew run ahead and start looking for sea shells. "Shame your mum couldn't come" Joe smiles as he strokes her hand.

"Me too, she said she had a few things to do and she needs to watch the dog" Niamh smiles.

"We should get the boys ice creams... nice little treat for them both" Joe suggests as they stroll across the sand.

"Good idea, we'll find a bench for us to sit down at" she smiles as she watches them.

"We can walk a bit more, it's good for you" Joe replies with a smile.

"How do I deserve you" she smiles and wraps her arm around his.

Joe stands there and holds her close. "That question is beyond me" he chuckles and kisses her head.

"Hmm this is nice, your warm" Niamh smiles.

"I hardly feel warm, my balls are freezing... fancy warming them up for me" he teases.

"Excuse me Mr we have children present" she smirks.

Joe looks over at them and smiles "quickly, won't hurt" He jokes.

She smiles and hugs him, "Joe, its cold but not that cold" she laughs and kisses him.

Niamh stands with him for ten minutes before looking around for somewhere to sit down. "What's wrong?" Joe asks as he notices her looking stressed.

"I need to sit down" she huffs.

"Well how about we go and get them ice cream now, I'm sure I saw tables and chairs over there" Joe suggests.

"Please" she says and nods.

Joe calls Matthew and Jordan back over and they head back towards the way they came

"Would you boys want an ice cream" Joe smiles as they reach the van.

Matthew and Jordan look at each other before running over to them. "Come on then" Joe smiles.

Matthew takes hold of Niamh's hand and looks up at her as they walk. "It's okay Mummy, you'll be fine" Matthew says randomly.

"Oh I sure will be" Niamh replies a little taken back.

They get up to where the ice cream van is and Joe suddenly realised there's no seats. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise there was no seats" Joe apologises.

"There got to be somewhere" she huffs.

Joe walks to the man standing in the ice cream van and asks but he tells Joe there isn't any.

"Joe please I don't know what's it's going in there but I can't stay any longer" Niamh sighs.

"We'll go back to the car now, you go ahead if you want and I'll get the boys some ice cream" Joe smiles.

"Thank you" she smiles and takes his keys.

Joe looks down at Matthew and Jordan and smiles. "Right what's it gonna be? Chocolate ice cream? Or one with two flakes?" Joe suggests.

"Can I have both daddy" Matthew asks cheekily.

He laughs at Matthew and shakes his head. "Baby you can only have one, you don't want to spoil your dinner" Joe replies.

"Can I have a chocolate one please" he smiles.

"Okay... Jordan what would you like?" Joe asks.

"Flake please" he asks politely.

Joe smiles and orders them ice cream before heading back to the car with they boys.

"How you feeling" Joe asks.

"Awful Joe, everything hurts... I don't know what's going on in there but it hurts" Niamh mutters as she has her head in her hands.

"Daddy? Is Mummy okay?" Matthew says unsurely.

"It's just the baby hunny, it hurts a little sometimes but mummy will be fine" he tries to explain.

Matthew looks at him rather worried. "Will she be okay?" Matthew questions.

"She'll be absolutely fine, it does go away" he smiles.

Matthew nods and goes back to Jordan. Joe stands looking at Niamh who isn't looking good, "I feel so sick" Niamh puffs as she looks up at him.

"I'll get us home as quick as I can" Joe reassures her and gets everyone safe in the car.

"Don't drive too quick I need a wee" Niamh replies. Joe nods and takes them all back to the house.
