Roll cameras part 2

Two weeks till the big day

3:30am

"Mummy... Mummy" Matthew mumbles as he stands beside Niamh's bed and keeps tapping her. She mumbles to herself and moves and then Matthew pokes her again, Niamh opens one eyes and can just make out the small silhouette of Matthew standing there.

"What's up" Niamh mumbles and rubs her eyes.

"I had a bad dream" Matthew mumbles and holds his teddy bear close to himself and stares at Niamh.

"Have you tried to go back to sleep?" She questions and leans over and presses her phone and squints as the light from her phone blinds her. She then glances at the time before locking her phone again.

"I can't mummy" he says and Niamh sits up and pats the bed, he climbs up and cuddles Niamh. "I'm scared mummy" he adds.

"Scared of what?" Niamh asks curiously.

He rubs his eyes and continues to hold onto her tightly, "I'm scared the monsters will take me away from you and daddy" Matthew says while getting rather tearful.

"No one will ever take you away from me and daddy, it's just a silly dream Matthew. None of this would ever come true" Niamh smiles and kisses his head.

Matthew nods and smiles, "but a boy at school has a baby sister and he told me he's got taken away from his mummy and daddy" Matthew cries.

"Matthew you don't have a baby sister or brother, now come on its to early for this. Try and get some sleep" Niamh says as she lets him sleep beside her as Joe is staying in London for his stag.

Niamh lies back down and drops back off to sleep, she then wakes around five to Matthew kicking her in the back. Niamh huffs and sits up and watches him sleep, she gives a happy sigh and strokes his cheek.

She picks her phone up and sees a message from her mum 'the table plan lay out has arrived, did you say you wanted Joe's family mixed with ours?' It reads. Niamh thinks to herself and smiles.

'Yes I did, can you make sure; Rosie, Lucinda, Camilla, Ellie and Kaye are all on the same table please. Also that Alex and his family are near that table with Rosie on please x' she texts back.

Niamh puts her phone down and looks at Matthew with a smile on his face. 'Write me up a draft of where you want everyone and send it me x' Barbara soon replies and Niamh agrees and writes a little but she needs Joe with her to sort the plan out.

Around six Matthew wakes up and goes to find Niamh who is downstairs cleaning the kitchen. "Hey you" Niamh smiles as she stands up to see Matthew standing in the doorway.
"Do you want breakfast?" She smiles and Matthew nods and goes to walk over to her, "careful the floor is wet" Niamh smiles as she watches him walk steadily over to her.

Niamh lifts Matthew up onto the work surface and smiles at him, "my feet a wet" Matthew giggles a he looks at the bottom of his feet.

She smiles and watches him, "I've just mopped the floor silly, now what will it be orange juice or black current?" Niamh asks as she opens up the fridge.

"Orange pwease" Matthew giggles and Niamh gets his plastic up of the cupboard and pours him some pure orange juice of the carton.

Niamh sits Matthew at the table with a bowl of coco pops and lets him eat them while she writes herself a shopping list.

Around ten in the morning Joe arrives home still looking heavily hungover. Joe puts his things down in the hall way and walks into the lounge to see Matthew playing with his toys on the floor. He quietly walks back out and goes through to the kitchen where cars is sat at the kitchen table with her back to the door, so she doesn't hear or see Joe coming in.

She seems in a little world of her own and Joe then walks over right behind her and puts his hand on her shoulder and then slips both arms around her, Niamh jumps and looks up in a moment of panic thinking its Elliot.

"Hey calm down its only me" Joe laughs and he kisses her head.

"Gosh Joe you gave me a fright" Niamh says as she raises her hand to her chest and feels her heart beating really fast. Joe then kisses her on the slips which soon turns into a full blown snog.

"Missed you" she mumbles as they pull away from the kiss.

"It's only been one night" Joe laughs as Niamh stands up and hugs him, Niamh rests her head against his chest and smiles.

"I know" she mumbles, Joe smiles and holds her close.

Joe kisses her head and then looks up to see Matthew, "Daddy!" Matthew squeals with delight, he runs towards them and joins the hug.

He picks Matthew up and Matthew instantly hugs him " how's my favourite little man?' Joe smiles and kisses his cheek.

Niamh smiles at the two and laughs "never seen someone so happy to see their daddy."

"Have you been good for mummy?" Joe asks and Matthew nods.

Joe looks at Niamh to see if he's telling the truth, "he's been very good, although someone didn't sleep in their own bed last night" Niamh replies.

"Oh Matthew why?" Joe asks and Matthew looks at Niamh and frowns.

"I was scared" Matthew sighs and gets down. Joe smiles and lets him off as he's still rather young.

"I saw all your lovely photos for you two last night" Joe smiles as he goes over to a cupboard and gets some paracetamol out and takes them with what looks like water. "Please tell me I've just drunk water" Joe mumbles.

"Nope that's bleach" Niamh giggles and Joe's mouth drops open. "Only joking its water" she giggles and Joe just pulls a face at her.
Niamh watches Joe and smiles at him, "mum text she wants us to do the seating plan" Niamh smiles as she shows him the note pad with everyone's names on.

He sits down as reads through the names, "can we put my mum with my sister, dad said he was coming over even though he's never met you and well both brothers are still work" Joe states as he takes both his brothers names off the list.

They finally come to an agreement around half an hour later, which is perfecting timing as Niamh needs to dress Matthew and also her mum has text back asking how far al no the table plans are.

Niamh tells her mum that they've sorted it and sends her pictures of their seating plan for her mum to put onto fancy paper and put the table names on a pin board. "Two weeks until you become Mrs McFadden" Joe smiles as he hugs Niamh once she's downstairs after dressing Matthew for the day.

"Yes and one week until we fly out to Malaysia... This is just so weird, I'm getting married to you... My best friend" Niamh giggles and kisses his cheek.

"Mrs Niamh McFadden.... I like it got a ring to it" Joe chuckles as he continues to embrace Niamh.
