Pre-drinks (ish)

A few hours later Niamh is finally home and getting ready for 'date night' while Joe has gone to get Matthew from school.

She's just got out the shower and is looking through her wardrobe at what to wear for the evening.

She grabs a pair of skinny jeans and a camisole too even though it's winter she thinks It'll look nice with a jacket.

She gets dressed and takes some things out for her to do her hair.

Niamh grabs her straighteners and plugs them in, Niamh sits and waits for them to heat up.

She does her hair and stands to look at herself in her full length mirror.

She tries to pull her trousers up as the feel low but can't pull them up as her stomach is in the way. She sighs and lifts up her top and looks in the mirror again.

She puts her hand over her stomach and strokes her growing bump.

Niamh smiles happily to herself and just admires it for a while before snapping out of her daydream when she hers the front door open followed by "Mummy I'm home! Where are you? Daddy said a swear word and and and where are you?" She hears from Matthew downstairs.

"I'm up here darling" Niamh smiles as she calls down. Matthew takes his shoes off and runs upstairs to Niamh.

He lunges himself into Niamh for a hug, "mummy what are you doing" he smiles up at her.

"Hello a good day then?" She smiles as she cuddles him back.

Matthew nods, "I brought a book home, my teacher said we have to get someone to read with us" he tries to explain.

Niamh looks and smiles "right well Mummy and Daddy are going out tonight but if you ask Camilla nicely she may read with you" Niamh smiles.

"Okay" he smiles and looks towards Niamh's stomach, "mummy... your tummy is getting bigger" he points out.

"Yes it is, baby is getting bigger and stronger" Niamh replies as Matthew touches it lightly.

"...will it get even bigger, like this much" he says and demonstrates with stretching his arms.

"Maybe" Niamh chuckles as Matthew scurries off back downstairs as the doorbell goes.

Niamh quickly straightens her hair and turns them off and puts them in a safe place to cool off and heads downstairs.

She smiles as she greets Camilla with a hug.

"Niamh... I didn't realise how big you was!" Camilla says as they pull away from the hug.

"Camilla! My mummy is having a baby silly" he laughs.

"I know isn't that exciting" Camilla smiles at Matthew.

Niamh smiles at Camilla "right he hasn't had his dinner yet but I can put something in for him, you literally have to take it out the oven and serve it up" Niamh smiles.

"Aren't you heading out, we can always brush something together" Camilla smiles at him.

"Joe is just getting ready so that'll take him an hour" she jokes.

"I heard that" Joe replies from the top of the stairs.

They both chuckle, "Matty what would you like for your dinner" Niamh says to him.

Matthew shrugs his shoulders and walks off into the lounge and plays with his toys. "That's a lot of help thank you" Niamh replies and smiles at Camilla.

"We'll figure something out don't worry" Camilla smiles. Niamh goes into the kitchen and looks through the freezer.

She moved a few bags out the way and comes across some dinosaur chicken that he likes.

She puts three out on an oven tray and turns the oven on and grabs a few potato wedges too.
