Roll cameras part 2

Settling

Barbara leaves Niamh and heads upstairs into the spare room. Niamh sits quietly downstairs with her legs up on the sofa and Maisie lying on them.
Niamh starts to fall asleep on the sofa as she watches Maisie.

She drifts off to sleep with her head resting against a pillow and Maisie still sleeping soundly in her lap.

Niamh was able to stay asleep for a good few hours before Maisie starts stiring in her lap.

Niamh slowly opens her eyes and realises she has fallen asleep on the sofa. She looks at Maisie in her lap and rubs her eyes. "Shh" Niamh says as she picks her up and looks at the clock.

It's about 5 in the morning and everyone seems to still be asleep on bed. She sits there for a moment just watching the clock move slowly. Niamh snaps out of it and looks down at Maisie and decides to feed her as she is due to be fed.

She rolls up her top and brings Maisie closer and after a couple of tries, Maisie finally latches.

"Thank fuck" Niamh mumbles to herself as she decides to stand and walk to the kitchen as she feeds Maisie. She turns the kettle on and gets herself a mug off the draining board.

"You must of been hungry" Niamh smiles as she watches her.

Niamh makes herself a cup of tea with her free hand and then walks back through to the lounge with Maisie still in her arms.

A little while later Joe wakes up and sees Niamh not in bed. He sits up and looks around the room and notices Maisie isn't in her Moses basket

Joe gets up and puts on something suitable and goes downstairs.
He walks into the lounge and looks at Niamh who is still sat feeding Maisie but has her cup of tea in her other hand.

"You alright? Your up early" he mumbles as he runs his eyes.

"Yeah, she wouldn't settle" Niamh replies hoping he buys it.

"You should of woke me" He smiles.
"I did" She says and rolls her eyes.

"You sure? I don't remember" he says confused.
"Yeah, because you were snoring your head off" she huffs.

"What? I don't snore" Joe smirks.
"You do and I've been up almost all night with her" Niamh says.

"Alright, alright keep your knickers on" he says.
Joe then heads into the kitchen and makes himself a cup of coffee.
