Meanwhile Niamh is on set and her phone keeps ringing but turns it onto silent as she's about to do a scene with Ellie and Alex.

Once she's finished her block of scenes she looks down at her phone while on a five minute break.

She sees the calls from the preschool so decides to call them back. "Hello?" A person says as the receptionist at the school answers.

"Hi, its Miss Walsh, Matthew Walsh's mum, is everything okay? You have called me a few times" Niamh says.

"Oh Miss Walsh I'm glad I got hold of you, you see Matthew has been in an accident and has been taken to hospital by a Natalie Kilbon" she replies. Niamh goes silent as her heart drops, she bites her lip and tries not to cry.
"He has been taken to The Royal Free Hospital" she adds and Niamh immediately hangs up and starts to cry.

She walks over to Ellie "oh Niamh what's the matter?" Ellie asks.

"M-m-Matthew has been taken to h-h-hospital" she stutters as she chocks on her tears.

"Oh gosh Niamh" Ellie says as she hugs her tightly. "You should go home and be with him" she says.

"I can't get hold of Joe" Niamh cries.

She looks down at her phone and texts him 'Joe please call me, Matthew has been taken to hospital, something's happened at nursery, please Joe x'

Niamh continues to hug Ellie and soon Niamh gets clearance to go home, she quickly hurries to her dressing room and gets dressed.

She still gets no reply from Joe, luckily Camilla has heard about what's gone on and has offered for her Jack her boyfriend to drive her to the hospital in Hampstead.

Niamh agrees to the lift and soon Jack arrives and they take Niamh to the hospital.

Around thirty minutes later Jack drops Niamh off at the hospital and Camilla tells Jack to go and park while she waits with Niamh continues to hug Ellie and soon Niamh gets clearance to go home, she quickly hurries to her dressing room and gets dressed.

She still gets no reply from Joe, luckily Camilla has heard about what's gone on and has offered to her Jack her boyfriend to drive her to the hospital in Hampstead.

Niamh agrees to the lift and soon Jack arrives and they take Niamh to the hospital.

Around thirty minutes later Jack drops Niamh off at the hospital and Camilla tells Jack to go and park while she waits with Niamh for Joe to arrive.

Niamh walks into the A&E and up the the reception desk, "hi my son was brought in by ambulance around half hour ago" Niamh says.

"What's is name please?" The receptionist asks.

"Matthew Walsh" Niamh replies.

The receptionist types his name into the computer and then looks up at Niamh.

"Oh, right I'll get someone to come out to you" she says and Niamh's heart plummets.

She nods and goes and sits down with Camilla, "so?" Camilla asks.

"I don't know... they're sending someone to talk to me... oh god what if he's seriously hurt" Niamh panics.

"Calm down, the best you can do for Matthew right now is stay calm" Camilla says and places her arm around her and hugs her.

Niamh sits there quietly for a bit until the Nurse comes out and over to her, "Hi Miss Walsh, would you like to come with me? You can bring your partner too" the nurse replies.

"Oh no she isn't my partner she's a friend" Niamh replies and Camilla sniggers.

They both follow the nurse to a side room which is for minor injuries, "so Matthew has been involved with a head on car collision" she begins and Niamh instantly gasps fearing the worst.

"He's fine, just recovering... he's also been sick a few times so we're going to do a few more tests" she says to Niamh.

"So will he be okay?" She questions.

"Well yes, she scrapes and bruises and his arm should be better within three to four weeks. We'll send him to the children's ward for an over night admission and then we'll see what that brings us" the nurse explains.

"So he's broken his arm?" Niamh says tearfully.

"Well not broken, just a hair line fracture" she says.

"Can I see him?" Niamh questions.

"Not just yet" the nurse says and then gets up, "right I'll call you through when he's ready to be seen" the nurse smiles.

Niamh and Joe head back out to the waiting room and sit down, Niamh sits there and can't stop fidgeting. "God sake Niamh give it a rest. You're sending me crazy" he says.

"Sorry I can't help it" she mumbles as she tries to stop fidgeting again.

Joe smiles and puts his arm around her and pulls her close, "he's going to be fine" Joe smiles.

"How do you know that, what if he's scared to go to nursery... Or cross the road, oh why did he even do that" Niamh sighs.

"Miss Walsh... Can I speak with you a second" a Doctor says as he approaches them. Niamh nods and gets up and follows him and Joe stays put. "Would you be able to come and sit with Matthew please, he's really upset and he won't let us give him any medication" the doctor explains and Niamh nods.

She follows him and into the main treatment room, Matthew is sat on the end bed with his arm up in a sling, his eye covered up by a patch and a lot of cuts covering his body. "Oh Matty" Niamh gasps and hurries over to him.
