Back at the hospital Niamh has been woken by the kitchen servers who want to know if she wants breakfast.

"Would you like anything from our breakfasts" the lady asks.

"Yes please could I have some cereal" Niamh asks as she sits herself up.

She makes up Niamh some cereal, "there you are" she smiles and hands it to her.

"Thanks" Niamh smiles as she looks at Joe who's sat with a coffee and a piece of toast.

"Morning" Joe smiles.

Niamh smiles at him and starts to eat her cereal. "I'm exhausted" Niamh mutters.

""I was wondering what you wanted to do about Matthew? If you wanted to call him?" Joe smiles.

"Get my mum to bring him up. I want to give her a bath first and make her look decent for visitors" Niamh smiles while looking over at her daughter fast asleep in the cot.

"Good idea, I'll give her a message" he smiles.

Niamh sits and finishes her cereal and her cup of tea as Joe texts her Mum.

A midwife comes over to see to them, "how are things this morning" she smiles.

"Good, had a good sleep, I'm going to bath and feed her soon" Niamh explains.

"Would you like any assistance?" The lady offers.

"I should be fine" Niamh smiles happily.

The midwife checks on her daughter before leaving. "Right Joseph... names, I want a name for her!" She laughs.

"Do you have any you've been thinking about?" He asks.

"I like so many girls names... I love Orla or even Aisling... so many gorgeous names" Niamh smiles.

"Hmm let's have a look at her" Joe says and goes over to her.

He carefully lifts her up and brings her over to Niamh. "Hmm I'm still stuck on the names" Joe jokes happily.

"Useless" Niamh laughs.

"What about Grace?... or Teegan? Oh... what about Maisie?" Joe suggests.

"They're all lovely names" Niamh says as she looks down at her daughter.

"Hmm Maisie...I like it" Joe smiles.

"You don't hear that name a lot do you... hmm Maisie McFadden..." she mumbles as she admires her.

Joe sits on the bed and puts his arm around Niamh. "Yes Maisie McFadden... it's a superhero's name" Joe smiles and strokes his daughter tiny hand.

"Superhero" Niamh laughs.

"Yeah" Joe smiles as he looks at Niamh lovingly.

"I love it" she smiles and kisses him.

"Maisie..." Joe smiles as they pull away from a kiss.

"I think we just named our child" she smiles happily.

"I'm so glad" Joe smiles.
"Can I tell my mum now?" He asks.

"Yes you can" she giggles at how excited he is.

He kisses Niamh's head and gets up and leaves the room. He dials his mums number and waits for her to answer.

"Mum?" Joe says as she answers it.

"Joseph?" She replies.

"Mum I got news" Joe says cheerfully.

"Oh what's that son?" She questions cheerfully.

"You have a granddaughter" he smiles.

"Oh my god! It's a girl! Oh Joe I'm so happy for you both" Mary exclaims happily down the phone.

"I can't wait for you to see her, she's perfect" Joe smiles.

"What's her name?" Mary replies excitedly.

"Maisie... Maisie McFadden, not long been named" Joe chuckles.

"What a beautiful name Joseph, how is she... and Niamh?" She questions.

"She's beautiful and doing well, Niamh's just shattered, they're keeping her in but should be home in an hour or so now" Joe says.

"I'm surprised... isn't she four weeks early?" Mary replies curious.

"Yes she did come as a surprise" Joe laughs.

"Proud of you son" She adds.

"I'm so proud of Niamh... look once we sort everything we'll be coming back to London, need to get together" he smiles.

"Of course, I'd love to see the wee things soon" Mary chuckles happily. Before long Joe finishes the phone call and goes back to Niamh, who is feeding Maisie.

"How you getting on with that" he smiles.

"Fine, it's painful, but she's content" Niamh smiles happily.

"How's your mum" she smiles.

"Sound swell, she's so happy she's got a granddaughter" Joe smiles as he sits himself down.

"Was thinking of bathing her after and putt her in one of the outfits we brought" she smiles.

Joe smiles happy "yes let's do it, also don't take offence but you need a shower too" Joe laughs.

"Cheeky... but I will especially as mum's going to be back with Matthew soon" she smiles.

"Yes Matthew will speak his mind" Joe laughs.

"He will" she laughs and finishes feeding Maisie.

Niamh sits Maisie up and supports her head as she burps her gently. "It's bizarre the last time you sat in a hospital bed with a new born, you didn't know what to do. Now look at you" Joe smiles lovingly.

"I can't believe how much has changed since then" Niamh smiles.

Joe nods happily and looks at Maisie, "I'm so happy we finally got that family we wanted" Joe smiles.

"I love you" she smiles.

"Same.." he teases and Niamh raises an eyebrow.

"I'm trying to have a moment here Mr" Niamh frowns.

"You and your soppy moments" he laughs.

"I'm emotional, stop being mean" she says.

Joe laughs and smiles. "Can I hold her?" He asks.

"Stop avoiding my emotion Joseph" Niamh laughs.

"You know I love you" Joe smiles as he goes to lift Maisie.

Niamh smiles as Joe takes Maisie off her. "She's just so tiny..." Joe coos.

"I love how small she is, just think Matthew was that small once too" she smiles and watches them.

"Maisie is smaller, Matthew I recall was a lot longer" Joe smiles.

"He was, Matthew was late though" she says.

"Yes that lazy bugger, he had extra time to grow" Joe laughs.

"I wonder how he'll be with her" Niamh wonders.

Joe shrugs his shoulders unsure as they know Matthew has always been used to having the two to himself. "How about we give this little one a bath" Niamh smiles.
