Precious time for a growing family

Niamh smiles turns to Joe, "I just came in because we're needed in a bit" she says resting her hands on his shoulders.

"Right I know, so what did Simon and Kate say towards you leaving at late notice?" Joe questions and kisses her forehead.

"They said it is a little late notice but he's going to look at the future scripts... but he's happy for us" Niamh smiles.

"That's good" he smiles.

"I don't want to come back after I've had the baby for a few years, these are precious years for our children... Joe I want to be there for it all, I'm not giving up acting though I'll do small projects on the side but I want to be a proper Mummy" Niamh smiles.

"And I totally support you, it would be great for you to be at home with the children more" he smiles and strokes her cheeks.

She smiles and looks into his eyes lovingly "I do love you Mr McFadden."

"I love you too Mrs McFadden" Joe replies and cups her cheeks and kisses her.

Niamh smiles happily, "come on we better go" Joe smiles and takes her hand.

She smiles and follows him down to set where everyone is waiting for the first roll. "I'm doing it now" Joe smiles and squeezes Niamh's hand tightly.

"What! Are you playing at!" Niamh panics in a whisper.

"Chill, you can't really hide that baby bump now. You are usually skinny they'll be able to tell... no offence" Joe smiles.

"Oh charming" she says sarcastically.

"You'll thank me later" he smirks.

Joe kisses her cheek and then clears his throat. "Can I have your attention please" he speaks up.

Niamh grabs his hand as Joe starts to speak.

"So I thought I'd be the first to tell you because I'm married to her but Niamh is leave soon and she won't be returning" Joe says in a serious tone.

He scans the room to see people looking puzzled and looks back down at Niamh.

"Yeah I'm taking time out for our growing family" Niamh speaks up but nobody catches on to what she's talking about.

Niamh looks down and places her hand over her stomach as Joe looks down at her and smiles, placing his over hers.

Camilla suddenly catches on and smiles "oh my god you're pregnant!" She beams happily and walks over to Niamh and hugs her, while Kaye, Catherine, James and David all stand there registering what has just happened.

Camilla pulls away and looks over at Joe and playfully punches him in the arm, "Joe! Since when" she beams.

"Since almost 6 months ago" Joe smiles. Camilla looks at Niamh confused and she pulls her top tight around her so they can see the small bump.

"Wait so you're just starting your last trimester?" Kaye questions in shock.

Niamh nods happily, "yes, it was a shock for us as well" she smiles.

She exchanges happy smiles with the cast before getting down to work.

She sits at the side and quickly looks over her lines as she's due on next.

"Niamh? Camilla has offered to watch Matty tonight, want to go out? I hear the vault is back on... you used to love that before Matty came along" Joe smiles as he walks over to her.

"That sounds like a lovely idea Joe, that's so kind of Camilla to offer" she smiles.

"You can have the alcohol free stuff" he chuckles and kisses her head before walking back to set.

Niamh chuckles to herself as they begin work.
