Niamh and Joe arrive at Matthew's school with twenty minutes to spare. Joe gets out of the car and grabs Maisie's pushchair from out the boot and sets it up. Niamh goes to the back of the car and takes Maisie out the car seat to put on the pushchair.
"Here we go Niamh," Joe smiles passing her Maisie's blanket and holding Niamh's coat for her.

"Thank you," She smiles and puts her coat on.
Niamh smiles and pushes the pushchair next to Joe, "He's going to be so happy to see us both," Joe smiles.

"Yeah," Niamh replies as she really doesn't want to be here just yet.

They start to walk up to the school and Niamh sigs as she looks at Maisie, dreading seeing the other Mums. They stand in the playground and wait for 3:15 pm when Matthew comes out. "You alright Niamhy?" Joe questions as he cuddles her from behind and watches Maisie over her shoulder.

"Yeah I'm fine, just want to get home" She replies.
"Wait won't you, you haven't even got your son yet" Joe smiles.

"Look can I have the keys to the car, It's cold out here I don't want Maisie getting a cold" Niamh says thinking of any excuse not to see the other Mums.

"He'll be out in a minute, wait with me. He'll be so excited to see you" Joe smiles.
"Really Joe, I want to go back to the car" She replies as she watches Matthew's friends Mum walk towards her.
"What's wrong?" He quizzes.

"I just don't want to be harassed by mothers" Niamh replies.
"Oh hello, Niamh... I didn't realize you'd had the baby" the mother speaks.

"Oh, she's gorgeous, what is her name?" She smiles noticing she is dressed in pink.

"Her name is Maisie, decided to come early" Joe smiles happily.
"Look at her tiny hands, oh, Niamh congratulations" She replies and hugs Niamh.

"Thank you," She replies awkwardly.
Joe looks at Niamh and then starts a conversation. "So how are you, Tracey?" He questions.

"Good, thank you, Joe, enjoy your break?" She smiles back.
"Was lovely, although we did end up in the hospital, Maisie decided to make an appearance in Ireland" Joe replies.

"Oh what a lovely surprise, bet you were thrilled" Tracey smiles.

"Hmm," Niamh replies as she rocks the pushchair gently.
"Yes it was... wasn't it Niamh?" He smiles jabbing her side.

"Oh yes such a surprise," Niamh gives a smile as she continues to rock Maisie.

Joe looks at her and rolls her eyes. "Sorry, Niamh is very tired she didn't mean to come over like that... did you babe!"

"It's understandable, I was the same with Peter, Louise, and Robyn" Tracey smiles.
"Ah I see," Niamh says hoping to end the conversation.

"Have you got a routine going yet? I know the pain of having to juggle a baby and another child" Tracey smiles as she watches Maisie.

"Not at first, but we're going to try and start one now we're home" She smiles.
"Yes, a good routine is key!" Tracey smirks.
"Yes, I know that! I had to go through it all with Matthew you know!" Niamh snaps.

"Niamh!" Joe snaps back at her and apologizes to Tracey.

Tracey just looks at Niamh in shock and heads back over to the other mothers. "What the hell are you playing at?" Joe questions as the school bell rings and children start to emerge.

"I'm tired and can't deal with other mothers fussing over Maisie" Niamh sighs.

"Just tips, Niamh" Joe smiles as he hugs her from behind and sways slightly with her.
"...and I'm cold" she smiles a little.

"Shall we leave the kids with your Mum and I take you to bed and keep you warm?" He mumbles against her ear cheekily.

"I mean my mother could do with some grandchildren time seeing as she'll be going back soon" Niamh smirks.

"Ditch the kids?" He laughs.
"I just want to be cuddled nothing else, none of your games Joseph, I've got stitches down there" Niamh laughs noticing Matthew coming down the ramp from the classrooms.

"Food in bed with a movie deal?" Joe smiles.

"Heaven" She smiles leaning back against him. She watches Matthew walk over to them. His coat slipping down his arms. His P.E kit sliding down his back. His school bag whacking him around his knees and a bunch of drawings and letters in his left hand.

He looks up and notices Niamh and Joe waiting for him, "Mummy!" Matthew calls as he tries to run with his bags.

"Careful son" Joe smirks as he watches Matthew come to them. He moves away from Niamh and helps Matthew. He takes his bags off him and takes hold of Matthew's hand.
