Lets paint the town pink

The following evening Niamh is getting ready to go out with Chloe on a girly night out.

She gets herself showered and changed ready to go out before sorting Matthew. "Right my speical little man, granny is looking after you tonight, behave" Niamh smiles as she carries Matthew downstairs in his pyjamas.

"Ma" he giggles as he holds onto her hair.

Niamh kisses his cheek and frees her hair "see you tomorrow baby" she says as she puts him down.

"Have a good night you two" Barbara smiles.

Niamh and Chloe go to leave but as soon as Matthew realises his mum his going, starts to cry and crawl over to them.

Niamh just ignores him and leaves him be. "Mama!" Is all Niamh can hear as she leaves the house with Chloe.

Chloe laughs a little, "he'll settle down don't worry" Niamh laughs.

"Come on then squirt, lets paint the town pink" Chloe laughs as they walk down the street.

Niamh laughs, "I swear you better have fun" she says and Chloe blushes a little.

"Of course we will" Chloe smiles.

Niamh smiles, "good", They head into town and straight to a bar.

"Shots?" Niamh asks Chloe.

"Yes! Six shots please and two daiquiri bubblegum cocktails please" Chloe says as she orders for them.

"Mmm I can't wait" Niamh laughs.

Chloe pays and the bartender places six shots in front of them and prepares their cocktails.

"The last time I got smashed I could barely walk back to the hotel in Ireland" Niamh laughs.

"Well we better get started!" Chloe giggles.

Chloe counts them down and they down the shots, Niamh pulls a face as she downs the shot as they're rather sour.

"Light weight" Chloe smirks.

"Fuck you" Niamh smirks as she takes another shot.

Chloe laughs and takes another one as well, "I'll drink you under the table" Chloe says.

Niamh laughs and downs another one, Chloe starts to drink her cocktails and smiles at Niamh.

"Boy I can't wait for your wedding" Niamh smiles.

"Neither can I, I can't believe I'm going to be Mrs Wyatt after so long of being with him" Chloe smiles.

Niamh smiles, "and I'll still be a Walsh" she smirks.

"So when will we be hearing the ding dong bells from you and Joe?" Chloe smiles.

"I haven't got a clue" Niamh says.

"You need to pick a date Niamh, Joe isn't going to wait for ever" Chloe says.

Niamh hits Chloe, "Oi!" Chloe laughs.

"We have spoken about it though" she smiles.

"Ahh I remember when you and Elliot used to talk about getting married" Chloe smiles.

"Ew, don't even bring him up" Niamh says.

Chloe laughs and sips her cocktails. "How is Joe?" Chloe asks curiously.

"He's good" Niamh smiles.

"That's good" Chloe smiles.

Chloe sips her cocktail and watches niamh drink hers. "So what's Joe up to while you away? Why'd he not come too?" Chloe asks.
