Matthew smiles and lays on Niamh's front and they sit there in a nice hug for a while.

"Mummy when will baby be here?" Matthew questions as he starts getting sleepy on Niamh's lap.

"After Christmas sweetie so not for a while" Niamh smiles.

"I can't wait!" Matthew smiles.

"Matty try and stay awake please dinner will be done soon" Niamh replies.

"But I'm tired" he moans and sits up a little.

He looks up at Niamh and plays with a strand of her hair, "your hair is soft Mummy" Matthew says randomly.

Niamh laughs, "thank you."

Soon Joe calls them through for dinner so Niamh gets up and heads into the kitchen "smells good Mr" Niamh giggles and hugs him from behind.

"It tastes good too" Joe smiles and turns to kiss her.

Niamh giggles and kisses him back "Oi I'm here you know!" Matthew shouts as he climbs onto his chair.

"Excuse me Mr, me and your Mum raised you correctly now less of the oi" Joe says.

"But you forgot about me!" Matthew sighs.

"No we didn't" Joe smiles as he starts to eat his dinner.

Matthew smiles and he also starts to eat his dinner.

Once they've finished dinner, Niamh starts the washing up and Joe puts Matthew in the bath as he's got into a mess with the bolognese.

"Your a messy bugger aren't you" Joe laughs.

"What's a bugger?" Matthew grins cheekily.

"Nothing, don't tell your Mum I said that. She'll kill me" Joe replies as he helps Matthew into the bath.

"We can't make mummy mad" Matthew says and shakes his head.

"She wouldn't like it would she?" Joe smiles and Matthew nods and grabs his toys out of the basket which is next to the bath.

Matthew sits there playing with his toys while Joe starts to wash his hair with the shampoo.

Suddenly Matthew lets a squeal "Ahh!! Daddy it's in my eyes!" He screams.

"Okay okay" Joe says to calm him and he pours some clean water and asks him to tip his head back.

He squeals loudly as he gasps for air. "There we go, how's that" Joe smiles.

Matthew nods with his eyes shut tight. "Daddy I'm getting cold" Matthew announces.

"Ok don't forget to wash your body then we'll get you nice and warm" Joe says.

Matthew nods and Joe helps him get washed down before getting him out and wrapped up in a warm towel.

Matthew holds the towel around him and follows Joe to his room to get his pyjamas on.

"Daddy, can I have warm milk?" Matthew asks.

"Yes once you're ready for bed" Joe smiles.

Joe gets his pyjamas out of his draw and helps him to put them on and takes the towel off of him.

Matthew smiles and gets off his bed and looks at his toys before settling to play with his power rangers. "Right twenty minutes Matty, then bed" Joe smiles and goes downstairs.

He goes back into the living room to where Niamh is.

"Niamh?" He says as he can't see her.

"Yeah?" She says as she pops her head round from the kitchen.

"There she is" he smiles meets her in the doorway.

Joe walks to her and kisses her, "Is he asleep already?" Niamh questions.

"He's playing, I told him he's got about twenty minutes" he smiles.

"Good, well I've made you a coffee" Niamh smiles as Joe steps into the kitchen and leans on the breakfast bar.

"Oh you so look after me don't you" Joe smirks and sips his coffee.

"I'm a good wife aren't I?" She smirks.

"The best" he smiles and gives her a kiss.

She goes and sits in the sofa with her feet up and so does joe. Niamh smiles and leans on Joe and he drinks his coffee.

"Niamh stop, you're elbowing me, and you have boney elbows" Joe says as he shifts uncomfortably.

Niamh sighs and sits up right again on the sofa. "Here let me rub your back" Joe smiles.

"Let me go put Matthew to bed first please" Niamh says as she gets up.

Niamh goes up to his room and sees Matthew lying on the floor. Her smile grows as she sees he has fallen fast asleep.

"Oh Matthew" she smiles as she scoops him up off the floor.

She carefully lays him down on his bed and covers him with the duvet.

"Night my sweetheart" Niamh smiles and kisses his head lightly.

She smiles and turns his bedside lamp off and turns to make her way back out.

She gets changed quickly into her pyjamas and heads downstairs. "That didn't take long" Joe says as he sees Niamh come back through.

"He's fast on" Niamh smiles as she sits down next to him.

"Must of been knackered" he smiles.

"All the excitement of having a baby brother or sister" Niamh smiles and leans back into Joe.

Joe happily opens his arm, "Matthew was telling me he was arranging with one of his new friends about going round his house" Niamh laughs.

"Really? That doesn't sound like Matthew, the child is hardly organised" Joe laughs and strokes her arm.

"Oh I know, I think he's still hyped about the whole thing" she smiles.

Niamh kisses his cheek and smiles before watching the TV.
