Restless

She lifts Matthew up onto her hip but Matthew is having non of it and start to cry.

Niamh gets a few looks from people as she walks up the isle with him, "Would you like some help?" A woman asks as Niamh walks him up and down.

"No don't be silly, I don't want to ruin the flight for you" Niamh says as little embaressed.

"Oh it's fine, I'm sure you'd do the same of it was someone else's child" the woman smiles.

"Come and take a seat, I'm travelling on my own anyway" she smiles.

Niamh sits herself down with Matthew on her knee. "What's this little cuties name then?" she asks.

"This is Matthew" Niamh smiles as Matthew is still crying.

"Hello you" she smiles as she takes him off Niamh and sits him on her knee.

Matthew looks up at the woman a little unsure. "Who's that Matthew" Niamh smiles.

Matthew squeals and shouts Ma, "Oh aren't you loud" the woman smiles.

"I'm Niamh by the way" Niamh smile.

"Suranne" the woman smiles.

"My fiancée couldn't come with me, so I'm alone with chubster here" she laughs trying to make conversation.

"Oh lovely, I'm away on business, I've left a nineteen year old, thirteen year old and a nine year old at home with my husband" Suranne smiles.

"Aw" Niamh smiles.

"It's a disaster waiting to happen... My oldest will probably go to her boyfriends but the other two... None stop fighting possibly" Suranne says.

"Oh dear, I really want another little one...but I know they don't stay little forever" she laughs.

"Go for it, you only live once" Suranne smiles.

Niamh smiles, "Indeed" he says.

Suranne looks at Matthew and smiles. "He's a lovely wee thing, I take it he's bored and fed up?" Suranne says.

Niamh nods and smiles a little embarrassed. "Just don't bounce him too much, his Dad did it the other day and Matthew the wee thing was sick on him" Niamh says.

"Oh dear" Suranne laughs.

Matthew smiles at her and eats his fingers, "Where are you going to in Malaysia? Holiday?" Suranne asks to make small chat.

Niamh smiles a little awkwardly as she's always been told never to tell anyone where she's going, "oh I'm just going down to one of the sea side towns" Niamh smiles.

"Very nice" she smiles.

Niamh looks at Matthew and smiles as he seems rather content, "Ma" he giggles as he looks up at Suranne.

"Sorry everyone is Ma at the moment" Niamh laughs.

Suranne laughs, "it's fine" she smiles.

Niamh smiles as Matthew reaches across to Niamh. Niamh lifts him up, "are you getting fed up sunshine?" she coos.

She stands him up on her knees and Matthew bounces himself, He looks around and babbles loudly.
