Coming to an end

Niamh is currently sat on Joe's lap having a break from dancing again, Joe sits his with arms around her waist and his hands placed on her stomach.

"I still can't believe it" he smiles and runs his thumb up and down her stomach lightly.

"Neither can I, a shock on today of all days" She giggles and rests against him a bit more.

Joe kisses her shoulder and watches everyone else in the room. "Where's Matthew?" Joe says as he hasn't seen him in a good twenty minutes.

"He's over there on your Dads lap fast asleep" Niamh smiles as she spots him curled up on John.

"Too much for the little fella to handle today" Joe smirks.

"Way too much" Niamh giggles and sips her glass of coke.

They both sit there watching the world go by, enjoying each other's company.

Niamh gets up off Joe's lap and straightens herself out, "going to see Matthew" Niamh smiles.

She walks over to John who's with Mary and Naomi. "Somebody needs their bed" Mary laughs as she looks at Matthew.

"Aww my wee fella" Niamh smiles as she couches beside John and strokes Matthews face. He snores lightly and rubs his face a little as he sleeps.

"Bless him, he walked over to us and just got on my lap and two seconds he was gone" John smiles.

"He does that at home, you'll be talking to him then suddenly he's spark out" Niamh smiles back.

"He's enjoyed himself today" Mary smiles.

Niamh nods and smiles "here let me have him, I'll lie him down on the chairs at the back" Niamh smiles as she lifts Matthew up and carries him carefully to the back.

Joe comes over and watches Niamh lie him down on the chairs and then sit next to his head. "You shouldn't of carried him over here, well not in your condition" Joe says as he crouches in front of Matthew.

"Joe it's not going to kill me" she laughs.

He smiles and watches Matthew sleeping. "I'm glad he's enjoyed his day as much as we have" Joe smiles and looks at his watch.
"Latest Matthew has stayed up too" Joe adds.

"What time is it?" Niamh questions.

"Quarter past eleven" Joe replies.

"Well that's late for him, usually asleep by nine" she giggles.

"Probably all the excitement and suddenly his exhaustion catches up with him" Joe suggests and Niamh just nods while stroking Matthews's head.

"Weird to think the start of April next year he'll have a brother or sister" Niamh smiles happily.

Joe smiles to himself and counts the dates, "eleven weeks then" Joe smiles and Niamh nods.

"From what the test said" Niamh giggles as her mum comes over.

"Right we'll be off now, it's getting later and it's going on for midnight" Barbara smiles.

Brian walks over to Matthew and lifts him up and carries him outside to the car. "Thanks for having him tonight" Niamh smiles and hugs her mum.

She becomes a little emotional as she knows her and Joe's special day is coming to an end.

"Oh baby girl don't cry... just look forward to the future you've got, a beautiful and bright future with Joe" Barbara smiles as she cups Niamh's cheeks and then plants a light kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you mum" she cries happily and hugs her one last time.

Joe smiles at the two as they pull away from the hug, he then gives Barbara a friendly hug and a light kiss on the cheek. "I'm so glad yous two enjoyed your day, may god bless you with an eternity of happiness" Barbara smiles.

"I glad you also enjoyed yourself, thank you for letting me marry your beautiful daughter" Joe smiles and Barbara smiles and hugs the two again before leaving.

Niamh sighs and looks at Joe, he takes hold of her hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze.

They thank everyone as they leave until it's just them left, "well today my love have been brilliant" Joe smiles as he nudges her chin so she looks up at him.

"Quite so" she smiles.

"Finally my wife" Joe mumbles as he kisses her neck.

"Maybe we should go to the cabin on the waterfront and actually find our room" Niamh smiles and Joe agrees.

They leave the main room and head to reception who give them the keys to the cabin near the waterfront. They also agree to keep the presents they've had in the cupboard for safe keeping.

They head out of the hotel reception and walk down to the beach, Niamh takes her heels off and walks across the sand. Heels in one hand and holding Joe's hand in the other.

They finally find the cabin and head inside.
