Romance is never dead

Around an hour later the doctors have decided that Matthew will be fine to come home, just if he starts to become unwell to bring him straight back. They have also put a cast on Matthews arm to help the small break repair itself.

"Mummy up" Matthew says as they walk down the corridor.

Niamh looks at Joe and he just smiles, "right" Niamh says as she lifts Matthew up and carries on walking. "Gosh Matty you're getting heavy" she smiles.

Matthew holds onto Niamh tightly as she carries him out the hospital, "can I play with my trains at Home?" He asks and Niamh nods and kisses his cheek.

Niamh walks past the young girl from earlier and she shoots Niamh a glare but doesn't do anything. Niamh just walks past quickly as she watches the girl type on her phone.

Once out to the car Niamh puts Matthew in the back and straps him in. Niamh's phone buzzes but she ignored it and gets in the front. "What do you want for dinner than? It's half six" Joe smiles as he puts the keys in the ignition.

"Well... Take out?" Niamh suggests.

"Why not, I fancy curry?" He says and Niamh agrees, "how about we get a curry and we let Matty have McDonalds?" Joe says as he pulls out of the hospital car park.

"Yay Daddy!" Matthew smiles as he over heard them.

Niamh smiles and giggles "Oi, ear wig."

Joe smiles and pulls out onto the main road, "so what's he gonna have?" Joe questions.

"Oh let him have McDonalds but just this once" she smiles.

They get his food and then head home where Joe orders them a curry. Niamh sorts Matthew once he's eaten his McDonalds and gives him a wash down with a flannel and gets him ready for bed.

"Mummy its heavy" Matthew moans as he tries to keep his arm with the cast on up.

"Keep your sling in then sweetie" Niamh smiles as she helps him get the sling back on. "Better?" She smiles and Matthew nods.

Niamh site watching Matthew as he yawns "tired?" She asks and he nods again, "right lets get you all comfy in bed" she smiles.

Matthew lies down in his bed and looks up at Niamh as she takes his sling off him again. Niamh leans forwards and kisses his head "Night night Mummy" Matthew smiles.

"Night night sweetheart" Niamh smiles back as she gets up and leaves the room, leaving the door left too. 

Niamh heads downstairs and goes through to the lounge and cuddles up next to Joe, "alright babe?" He asks as he puts his arm around her.

She nods and rests her head against his shoulder and looks up at him, "yeah, have you ordered the curry" Niamh asks.

Joe shakes his head, "I've changed my mind" he smirks.

"Oh... So what now?" Niamh asks.

"How about some noodles from in the kitchen and then we can put the strawberries, chocolate and cream to good use" he smirks hoping Niamh will catch his drift.

"Joe... Oh... Oh I see" she giggles and leans up and kisses him.

"Bottle or two tonight, it's been a heck of a day" Joe replies. 

"God yes, and how did the auditions go for coronation street?" She asks as she strokes his chest.

"Great, really think I've impressed them" Joe smiles.

"That's great, I really miss you being at work with me. So lonely" she sighs.

Joe laughs and kisses her head "now you know how I felt when you were on maternity leave with Matthew" he smiles.

Niamh kisses his cheek and Joe gets up and goes into the kitchen. "I'm so happy I am with you" she says randomly as she follows Joe into the kitchen.

Joe smiles and grabs her waist and holds her close, he begins to kiss her and slowly unbutton her top. Niamh giggles as she likes where this is going, he kisses along her shoulders and up her neck catching her sensitive spots as he goes.

"I want you" he mumbled against her neck.

"Well here I am" she giggles as she wraps her legs around his waist. He lifts her off the work surface and carries her into the lounge.

Joe likes her down on the sofa and climbs on top of her and plays with her leggings and pulls them off. "Oh... oh Joe" She smiles as he begins to kiss her inner thighs.

He holds her close and kisses from her underwear line up her chest to her face. "I want all of you Right now" he smiles.

"Go ahead" she giggles.

Joe pulls her knickers off quickly and pulls his trousers and underwear off.
