Roll cameras part 2

Beach day

They soon arrive at the beach and Niamh sits in the car contemplating whether to get out the car.

"Aren't you coming?" Joe says as he straps Matthew into the pram.

"Is it cold?" Niamh says.

"Not really, it's a warm day" he smiles.

Niamh sighs and gets out the car. "It'll be fun" he smiles as they walk down to the beach where his family are.

Ella jumps out of Jamie's car and runs over to Niamh, "my mummy said your the lady off the Telly" Ella says.

Niamh smiles, "yes I am and what's your name?" Niamh asks.

She goes all giggly and then Matthew catches her eye. "Your my Uncle Joe, I've never met you before" Ella says.

"Well you've met me now" Joe smirks.

"You're on Telly too!" she giggles.

"Yes I am" Joe smiles.

"Who's in the buggy?" Ella asks.

"This is your cousin" Joe says.

Ella stands beside Joe and looks at Matthew, "what's his name?" she asks.

"Matthew" Joe says.

"Is he that lady's baby?" Ella says as she points at Niamh.

"Yes but he's my baby too, Niamh and I are getting married" Joe explains.

Ella smiles as they walk to the beach and set down a blanket and everyone sits down.

Joe gets Matthew out of the buggy and sits him upright on the blanket. He wobbles backwards and lands in Niamh's lap.

"Oh hello" she smiles as she coughs a little.

Niamh sits him back up as Ella comes over with a cupcake which she is eating and sits next to Niamh, "can I hold his hand?" Ella asks.

"Yes of course, I'm sure he'd like that" Niamh smiles.

Niamh smiles as Ella holds Matthews hand and she talks to him. "I'm your cousin" she smiles as Matthew watches while she eats her cupcake also.

Matthew squeals and waves his arms around. He lets go of Ella's hand and tries to crawl onto her lap.

Ella panics as he's dribbling to and has no idea what to do, "daddy!" She panics.

Niamh lifts Matthew off Ella and he starts to whimper, "no Ella doesn't want you to dribble all over her" Niamh says as she cuddles him but he kicks and squeals.

Matthew gets off her lap and crawls over to Ella and watches her eat the cake, "Why does he dribble Niamh?" Ella asks.

"He's growing his teeth and he has no control over his dribble, don't worry" Niamh smiles.

"Oh" she giggles.

Matthew smiles at Ella and climbs onto her lap again. "Ma!" He squeals as Niamh changes his Bib as its soaking wet.

Ella smiles a little and Niamh helps Matthew sit upright so he will dribble down his bib and not Ella.

"Be good for Ella" Niamh says and Ella giggles.

"I like him Granny" Ella says as she looks over at Mary who's taking a photo of them.

"He's lovely isn't he?" Mary smiles.

"Daddy can I have a baby brother?" Ella asks Jamie.

Jamie laughs, "you'll have to ask you mummy when she's home from work sweetheart" he says.

Niamh smiles and Matthew tried to take Ella's cupcake. "No Matthew, leave Ella's food alone" Niamh says.

"Can he have a cake?" Ella asks as she sees John with the cakes.

Niamh nods, "yeah I don't see why not" she smiles.

"John can I have a cake please" Niamh asks.

John nods and passes Niamh the tin, "can I feed him it?" Ella asks.

"Way sure but don't give it him whole and I'll break it in half for you" niamh smiles.

Ella smiles and starts to feed Matthew it in tiny bits. "Is that nice?" Joe coos as he looks over at Matthew and Ella as Mary takes a few more photos.

Matthew giggles and looks up at Ella and smiles. Niamh takes a photo of Matthew with Ella and posts it on her Instagram saying 'Matthew enjoying some cake at the beach with his cousin'.

"You're really pretty Niamh" Ella says.

Niamh smiles at her and puts her phone away, "and so are you sweetie" she replies.

Ella goes all giggly before looking down at Matthew again to see cake all over his face.

"Ella? Granda is going in the sea do you want to join him?" Jamie asks.

"Yes daddy, did you bring my wet suite?" she asks and Jamie nods.

"Yes it's in the bag" Jamie says

"I'll be back to look after Matthew for you soon" she smiles as she sets him on Niamh's lap and gets up.

Niamh wipes Matthews mouth and smiles as Ella gets changed and runs down to the sea.

Matthew sits and watches Ella as she runs off. He squeals as she gets further away. "Calm down, Ella will be back" Niamh smiles as she sets Matthew inbetween her and Joe.

Niamh puts a sun cap on Matthew which he doesn't keep on for very long, "Shall we go for a walk?" Niamh says to him.

Niamh gets up and picks Matthew up, Matthew squeals and looks around.

"Coming?" Niamh asks Joe.

Joe nods and gets up, "Where are we going?" Joe asks.

"For a walk along the beach, Mary's coming too and Naomi" Niamh smiles.

"I'm fine here" Naomi says.

"Wheels won't move" Mary replies.

"Oh right okay, well then it's just us three" she says.

Joe smiles and takes Niamh's hand and head down the beach together.

"It's a really lovely day" Niamh smiles a little.

"You sound better" Joe smiles.

"A little, I've got a banging headache but I feel a bit better" she smiles.

"Good" Joe smiles.
