While at the party Matthew does nothing but run around like a lunatic which doesn't bother Niamh because he'll sleep later on.

"Matthew come here" Niamh says as all the other children sit down to eat their party food.

"I don't like that" Matthew says as he sees the chicken nuggets.

"You hadn't even tried them" niamh says as she gets up and walks him over to the table and sits him down by a little girl.

Niamh puts the paper plate back in front of him and and tries to get him to eat a chicken dipper.

"No mummy that is yacky " Matthew says as she tries to get him to at his dinner.

"Come on Matty they are just like mummy's at home" Niamh smiles.

Matthew shakes his head and pushes the paper plate away again. Niamh looks over at Joe for some assistance, he then gets up and goes over to Matthew.

Joe gets the tomato sauce off the table and puts a small amount on the plate which Niamh isn't best pleased about.

"What was that for?!" Niamh says.

"He needs to eat" Joe replies, Niamh just huffs and steps back.
Joe manages to get Matthew to eat some food but getting Matthew to dip his nuggets into the sauce.

"You Mr McFadden are a genius" Niamh smiles as Joe walks over to her and he leaves Matthew to eat with all the other children.

"Now who's the better parent" he jokes.

Niamh hugs him and looks up at him, he guides them back over to where they were sitting and he sits down sitting Niamh on his lap.

"How about after this we go for something to eat over in Elstree and you can go get your scripts from the studios" Joe smiles as he rests his head against her shoulder.

Niamh smiles and nods "I saw some lovely shoes in clarks too, and they had Matthews size last time I checked" Niamh says.

He laughs and kisses her cheek, "Mummy I've finished!" Matthew shouts as he comes over to her.

Niamh giggles and gets a tissue out and wipes his hands and face. Matthew pulls a face as he hates her doing this, "good boy now go and sit down and wait until the other boys and girls have finished theirs" Niamh says and plants a gentle kiss on Matthews head.

Matthew walks back over and sits back down and plays with the confetti which is on the table.

"Where has our baby gone" Niamh sighs as she watches Matthew.

"Grown up so much since starting pre-school" Joe smiles.

She nods and gives a heavy sigh, "wish he'd stay like a baby for ever... around his six month stage to be accurate" Niamh smiles.

"It would be lovely, the lounge would be tidier" he laughs and strokes her knee.

"I'm so happy I had him now" she smiles.

"I recall you telling me I was going to be a dad at work" he smiles.

"That was four years ago now, time flies" Niamh giggles.
