Maisie is now a month old and Joe has now on rehearsals for a stage show which will tour the country in a few months, which Niamh isn't very happy about and is slightly off with Joe because of it.

"I'll leave your dinner in the oven for whatever time you get home" Niamh tells Joe as he is getting ready to leave the house.

"Thanks... hopefully I won't be too late" he smiles as he kisses her head while she is sat on the sofa feeding Maisie.

"I hope so too, you've been away a lot" Niamh sighs.

"I know... I promise I'll make it up to you" he smiles as he looks down at Maisie and strokes her head.

"Bubble bath and dinner?" Niamh smiles cheekily.

"Pushing it there aren't you" he smirks and kisses her again. "I love you" he mumbles.

"Love you too" Niamh smiles.

Joe goes and grabs his bag and shoes, he looks at his phone before sliding it into his back pocket and heading out the house to the taxi that is collecting him. Niamh sighs as she looks down at Maisie "looks like it's just us today" she smiles.

She continues to feed her for a while before checking her phone for any messages she may have missed. She sees a message reply from Ellie updating her with a photo of her travels.

Niamh messages Ellie back and asks if she wants to come round for a catch up later today.

About half hour later she gets a reply saying that Ellie is free for the next few days and has planned to come over to Niamh's.

Niamh finishes off feeding Maisie and places her down in the Moses basket before texting Ellie back 'hey, Defiantly! More than welcome to come round lady, as long as you come before 3pm I have to collect Matty from school x'. She sends the text and then heads upstairs to collect some laundry that needs doing.

Niamh carries the pile of washing from hers and then Matthew's room and brings it back down.
Once she sorts the washing into lights and darks, Niamh goes and checks on Maisie and looks for messages on her phone.

While Maisie is still asleep she makes the most of trying to tidy the place up a bit.
She puts away all Matthews's toys only knowing full well they'll be out again when Matthew is home from school.
While tidying she gets a text from Ellie saying she is half an hour away from Niamh's house.

Only 10 minutes later Maisie starts to wake up and Niamh goes in to see to her. As Niamh picks Maisie up she starts to cry loudly. "Hey, shhh, it's okay" Niamh says cradling her daughter.

She can tell she's hungry so Niamh sits down on the sofa and pulls Maisie close.

Maisie continues to cry and kicks her legs, "Come on you're hungry and your winding yourself up... calm yourself" Niamh says as she grabs the pregnancy pillow and places it carefully under Maisie.

Niamh steadies her and strokes her head hoping to calm her down a bit. She once again feeds Maisie before taking her upstairs to change her nappy.

She gets Maisie dressed in a cute little Minnie Mouse all in one and comes downstairs once she's heard the door bell go.

Niamh carries Maisie resting against her shoulder to the front door and unlocks it before hoping the door.

"Niamh!" Ellie smiles as she opens the door.

Niamh smiles happily and steps forwards to give Ellie a hug. "Oh my god! I haven't seen you in ages, come on in" she beams happily stepping out of the hug.

"How have you been" Ellie smiles as she steps in and takes her shoes off.
"Alright I guess, I'm very tired" Niamh smiles as she shuts the front door and carries Maisie into the lounge.

"Not surprised with a new born" Ellie smiles as she takes a seat.
"Oh she's a handful. Much prefer Matthew as a baby" Niamh smirks as she moves Maisie.

"I couldn't believe when you text to say you've had her, I couldn't resist having a visit" she smiles.
"I still can't believe I've had her. She was early, by three weeks. Cheeky monkey couldn't wait to get here" Niamh smiles as she cradles Maisie and strokes her head.

"And she's perfect, how's Matthew doing with her?" She asks.

"He's getting there, I still don't think he like the idea of sharing Joe and I, but it'll get there" Niamh smirks.

"He will, just needs time" she smiles.

Niamh looks down at Maisie and smiles, "do you want to hold her?" She questions looking back up at a Ellie.

"Do you even have to ask" Ellie beams as Niamh carefully hands Maisie to her.

Niamh stands in front of Ellie for a moment and watches Maisie. "Do you want a drink at all!" Niamh asks as she grabs Maisie's dummy from the coffee table.

"I'll take a tea please" Ellie smiles and Niamh goes to make two teas for them.

While in the kitchen she reloads the washing machine and puts the washed closed in the dryer. She gets the milk and pours it in before bringing it into the living room.
"She's just like you Niamh," Ellie smiles as Niamh places the two mugs down on the coffee table.

"I should hope so, Matthew is Joe for sure" Niamh laughs and sits down.
"They do look so much alike" Ellie smiles as she looks at a photo of all four of them on the mantelpiece.
"How are you coping?" Ellie asks.

"Okay I guess, I don't know whether I'm coming or going some days. But I'm getting there." Niamh chuckles.

"I bet it makes it easier knowing Joe's got your back" Ellie says.

Niamh smiles slightly, "I could only wish" she smiles tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"What you two haven't? Have you?" Ellie panics thinking they have broken up.
"No no, we've not split or anything, just he's not been around much since his tour" Niamh mumbles.

"Oh yes the tour, I'm sure Matthew helps though" Ellie smiles cheerfully.
"He's at school most the time but he tries" Niamh replies.
"Bless him, so tell me what's she like at night?" Ellie questions.

"Hasn't slept through yet but she's not too bad at the moment, why's that?" Niamh asks.
"Oh it's nothing" Ellie smiles as she admires Maisie.

"It must be something" Niamh smiles.

"She's gorgeous isn't she" Ellie says completely ignoring what Niamh's saying.
"Ellie? What are you not telling me?" Niamh asks.
"I need your help" Ellie states.

Niamh raises an eyebrow and looks at a Ellie who is looking down at her daughter. "Oh?" She says encouraging Ellie to tell her.
