This story will be if I myself was adopted by Jen, it will be my personality in the main character and how I would react to the scenario it will not be how my life actually is its just my personality in a different life. I hope you like it.

Jen's POV
After Katie left for Mcdonalds I lay my head back on the head rest and tryed to sleep, Katie was gonna be at least twenty minutes over there, the lines are always really long this time of year because people are doing their christmas shopping. I just woke up and it's been twenty minutes since she left so she should be here any minute, I resort to to putting the radio on to pass the time but just as i've pressed the on button there's a knock on my window making me jump and clutch my chest with my hand. When I look up i'm greeted by Katie standing there laughing holding up two mcdonalds bags in her right hand against the window.
"You scared the shit out of me." I shout at her while laughing after having rolled the window down.
"Good." She laughs again.
"Not good." I act annoyed, emphasizing the good.
"If that isn't, this is." She smiles holding the bags through the window at the end.
"At least we agree on something." I grin and take the bags from her hands and set them in my lap while she walks around the car and gets into the seat beside me.
"What's the extra food for?" I ask her confused.
"It's for Scarlett, Granny and Gramps." She lists off, I think we both realise what she said at the same time. When we had both done so we just looked at eachother indicating we had realised then she just nods toward the bag and grabs one off my lap.
"Eat." She commands, she's clearly embarrased but I'm relieved she's definetly molding into the family well which is comforting for me.
"How much longer do you think they'll be?" She asks in an attempt to move on from the awkward moment.
"Not long, maybe like five minutes." I suggest to her then take a bite of my burger.
A few minutes later we have finished or burgers so we try ammusing ourselves by throwing fries onto the hood of the car for the birds to grab.
"They're really going for it." I laugh at the birds trying to grap the fries.
"They're crazy." Katie laughs back.
"A bit like us when we're hungry." I laugh and sit back in my seat.
"I'm not even gonna argue." Katie laughs and sits back too.
"Will they hurry up." I sigh in a aggrivated tone.
"There they are now." Katie points across the parking lot to Scarlett in the shopping cart while Mom pushes it across the road half full.
"I'll go help." Katie sighs and jumps out of the car then jogs over to help. When she gets there She takes Mom's place and she walks along beside it. I watch as Katie plays about with Scarlett on there walk over it's a really cute sight especially with my Mom walking along beside them smiling too, when they get here I get out and quickly help them load up the back of the car then Katie and I usher them into there seats again after having put the car seat in place.
