This was intended to be a short one to start us off, but it ended up being double the length intended and a bit different than I originally imagined.
Hearing the familiar tap at your window, you pushed yourself back from the desk you were sitting next to, spun around to face the window, then unlocked it. You pushed your spinny chair back to its place while Spider-man hopped inside.
"You should really just leave your window unlocked," he commented, taking off his mask and sitting on your bed. You shrugged, continuing to work on homework.
"I could, but at least if its locked you can't barge in whenever you feel like," you glanced over your shoulder at him with a grin.
"What are you doing?" He walked over to see what you were working on, seeing today's sheet of homework your math teacher gave you.
"Math." The way you said it made it sound like the most vile thing on Earth.
"It's really easy, all you have to-" he cut off when he noticed the glare you were sending his way.
"It's not easy for me," you grumbled. You weren't near as bright as Peter, so nothing at school besides lunch was easy. He leaned over your shoulder as he took the pencil in your hand to write down an equation to help you out.
"Try using that," he gave back the pencil.
"What does the h in the equation stand for?"
"Height."
"The w?"
"Width."
"That loopy thing?"
"Length."
"..." You paused a moment to try and put the numbers into the equation. "Yeah, I still don't know what to do." You leaned back into your chair, tossing your pencil onto the piece of paper. Suddenly, you caught a whiff of something. "What did you do today?"
"What?" He looked away from your homework to send you a confused look.
"What did you do today as Spidey?"
"Saved a couple kids and an old elderly couple, why?" He tilted his head.
"Hold on," you shoved yourself back from the desk and stood up, circling him. He watched you, and after a little bit of circling, you stopped and leaned in. He froze up, not sure what you were doing and why you were so close and gosh dang you smelled good.
"What's that?" You pointed to a wet mark on the arm of his suit. He just noticed it, and as he stared at it with you, a grin slowly started to spread across your face. "Is that...a pee stain?" He took a sniff and cringed, making you bust up laughing so hard you fell over. While you were on the ground, water slipping out of your eyes as you held your stomach, he thought of where he could possible have gotten peed on.
"Where'd that even come from?" He muttered under his breath, not paying attention to you dying on the floor.
"I wanna say...it was....from a kid!" You managed to say between fits of laughter.
"I guess, but why would they pee on me? I'm a superhero." His statement made your laughter increase to the point where you weren't making any noise at all. Tears were streaming down your face as you squeezed your eyes shut, nearly grimacing at the pain in your side. "Stop laughing," he said, though you could tell he really didn't mean it.
"B-But," you couldn't say any more, as you were laughing again.
"I'll wipe pee on you!" He threatened loudly so you could hear him. You started rolling on the floor, not even caring that he had crouched down beside you and was bringing his arm closer.
"(Y/N), what's going on up there?" Your mother shouted, making your laughter cease.
"Nothing Mom," you called. You both stayed quiet until you were sure she was gone. She didn't see Peter come in and of course he was still in his suit, so her coming in would be...unadvisable.
You giggled as you tried to get up, a hand on your side as you felt the pain come from it. Peter hoisted you up, rubbing his arm on you in the process and making you squeal and pull away.
"Gross!" You whined, trying to rub it back on him. You could still feel the substance on you though, so you frowned and tried to move away. Instead, however, you moved in the opposite direction: into Peter's arms. "Um..."
"Shh," he shushed. You listened to him, confused as to what was going on. You attempted to peek up at him, but being a wee bit shorter than him, all you saw was his chin. "275," he let you go.
"Huh?"
"The answer to your math problem," he pointed to it. "It's 275."
"Oh," you shuffled over to write that down, not caring you didn't have the work to prove how you got the answer. "So what was the hug for?"
"To move you out of the way so I could see your homework," he said smoothly. Since when did he become so non-awkward? Two can play at that. You pulled him over and gave him a kiss on the lips before pulling away and going back to trying to do math. "W-What was that?" He managed to say after 10 whole seconds of wide eyes and a dropped jaw.
"So I could see if your lips were as soft as I imagined them to be," you responded without looking up.
"And?" His face was a dark red.
"I think I'll need to double check," you leaned back and gave him another kiss, but for this one you stuck around long enough for him to kiss back. After a few seconds you pulled away and smiled. "Yep, they are."
"What were we talking about again?" He blinked. You laughed, stealing one more kiss before going back to math.
"Ok, I actually need to get this done tonight," you tried to focus in on it, but it just wasn't coming to you. You had no clue what you were doing.
"I could do it for you," Peter offered quickly.
"You'd do that? Thank you!" You kicked your chair back and strutted away, pushing the chair back to him so he could sit.
"Do I get, um, a gift once I'm done?" He mumbled, keeping his eyes on the paper so you couldn't see his embarrassed face. You had a feeling you knew what he was hinting at and grinned.
"Yes," you spoke as seductively as you could, and he immediately starting working on the problems.
