Spider-man landed on the top of an apartment building with a quiet crunch. Snow fell softly to the ground around his feet, and he took a moment to enjoy the chilly air after swinging and running around for over an hour. After the moment was up, he walked to the edge and jumped over the side, turning around in mid-air to cling to the wall. He climbed across the wall to a specific window he had opened many times before.
Putting his hand carefully on the glass, he pushed it open and slipped inside, shutting the window after him so the room didn't get cold. He was in the bedroom of the apartment, and after making sure the door was locked, he changed back into his everyday clothes. As he changed he listened to the movie playing in the other roomーa Christmas classic if he wasn't mistaken.
Peter opened the door to the other room and saw his girlfriend (Y/N) sitting on the couch in the middle of a mountain of blankets with hot cocoa on the end table next to her. He couldn't stop the smile that wanted to form on his lips at the sight of her. Tip-toeing over to her peaceful form, he sat down on the couch next to her and cuddled up beside her under the blankets.
(Y/N) screamed and Peter jumped a foot in the air. "What is it?! What's wrong?" He asked hastily, looking all over the room to see what scared her. Nothing seemed to make his spider senses tingle and the movie on the screen was a cheerful one.
"You're freezing!" She cried, pushing him away with her foot. Peter frowned and tried to get back under the blankets but was met with a stern look from (Y/N).
"I need warmth," he protested.
"Find a blanket then," she replied. He looked all around the room.
"You have all of them." She stared at him and he stared back. She slowly took the top blanket on her mountain and peeled it off, then tossed it to him. He scooted back over so he was just outside her blanket cocoon and got comfortable with the singular blanket she gave him wrapped around himself.
(Y/N) went back to the movie but couldn't help but notice that he still appeared chilled. With a sigh, she held up her blankets so he could snuggle up with her. His eyes lit up like a puppy seeing its owner come home, and he rolled into the spot she made available. Once he was settled she grabbed her mug of hot cocoa and gave it to him.
"Thanks, sugar." He kissed her.
"Your lips are cold," she said.
"Wanna warm them up?" He smirked.
"That's why I gave you the hot cocoa," she smiled, immune to his flirting. He grumbled something under his breath but drank the hot cocoa.
