This is dedicated to a friend of mine that was actually a huge part of my decision to start writing this book. She told me all about her new crush on Tom Holland and how hot he was, and at that time I hadn't seen the new Spider-man movie. Well, after I watched it, I agreed with her so voila! This book is now a thing.

Most girls only dreamed of knowing a famous celebrity, some would kill to even meet them once, but for you that wasn't the case. Tom Holland was famous because of his role in the new Spider-man movie and small-ish role in Captain America: Civil War. To you he wasn't a celebrity worthy of writing fanfiction about, he was just a great friend that deserved a movie night.

Tom had told you he was free tonight so you arranged a movie with the two previously mentioned movies. The plan was to head to the theaters to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming then go back to your house to watch Captain America: Civil War on your 42-inch flat screen TV.

You grabbed your wallet, put your phone in your back pocket, then headed out the door. You had offered to drive the both of you but Tom had mentioned he'd need a ride back home so you let him drive. Sure you could've driven him home in your car too but after two movies and plenty of popcorn you'd be tired and ready to go to bed.

Tom was waiting for you when you got outside, so you waved and got into his car. "Hey (Y/N)," he greeted you with a smile.

"You ready to go watch yourself on the big screen?" You grinned eagerly.

"Yeah!" He shouted.

You laughed and shot a fist into the air. "Onward!" He pulled away from your home and you sat back in the seat. You hadn't seen the new Spider-man movie so you were excited to see your friend as the famous web-slinger. He did fantastic in Captain America, but after the big battle between Tony and Steve and their respective teams, he was kind of just thrown out of the rest of the movie. You guessed you understood whyーthe movie wasn't about himーbut it was still pretty amusing.

You saw the theater coming closer and sat up, tapping your hands on your legs as your excitement rose. Tom pulled into the parking lot and you hopped out before he fully stopped. You were waiting just outside the theater while he took his time putting on his sunglasses and walking from the car over to you.

"Could you go any slower?" You shouted. He took that as a challenge and slowed down, making you groan loudly. You went inside without waiting for him and the smell of buttered popcorn filled your nose immediately. Your eyes stayed on the concessions until your friend finally caught up and snapped you out of your daze.

You paid for the tickets and the popcorn, reminding him this was your treat for him. While you were distracted making the popcorn extra buttery he tried to slip some money into your back pocket but you caught him. This caused some popcorn to fall out of the bag and you snatched the pieces off the ground and stuffed them in your mouth, mumbling through a full mouth "5 second rule."

You both headed off into the room filled with red chairs and lights lining the sides of the room and a humongous screen against a wall on which trailers were playing. You found seats and got comfy, stuffing popcorn in your mouth so you didn't start ranting. When you were this excited about something you tended to spill everything you thought about it to whoever was closest to you. The theater wasn't filled to max capacity but there was at least a group of people in each row of seats.

You reached for the popcorn and bumped hands with Tom. You pulled back and smiled awkwardly as he took his popcorn and sent you a quick smile before putting the buttery treat in his mouth.

Finally, the lights dimmed and the movie started.

You were so into the film you completely forgot about the popcorn. During a remotely uneventful scene, a guy behind you a few rows spoke up. "How old is this actor?"

"21," you and Tom replied together.

"He looks so young," a female said. From there, the conversation ended so nobody annoyed the others trying to watch the movie in peace. You sent a look to Tom and he returned it. At least everyone could tell he wasn't a 30-year old trying to play a teenager.

The rest of the movie went by with a few laughs from you and overall attentiveness to what was happening in front of you. You could confidently say you now liked Spider-man. You already liked Tom, was it that big of a surprise if you liked the character he played?

Before Tom could slip his sunglasses back over his eyes, a lady a few seats down looked over and spotted him. "You look just like him!" She pointed at the screen that was now just credits.

"I suppose you're right," you said, putting a hand on your chin as you examined Tom. He put his sunglasses on and walked out of the theater with you right behind him. "Do you think we should've told her you were him?"

"Nah," he shook his head. You tossed the empty bag of popcorn into the garbage and dusted your hands off before heading out to the car. As soon as you both were in the car and driving away, you started talking all about how much you liked the movie and how good of a job Tom did and your favorites parts and etc.

He listened to you talking the whole ride back to your house, occasionally adding his input. When your house came into sight you switched your ranting to what the plan was for the Captain America movie.

You could make more popcorn but neither of you really cared for that, so you didn't. Instead you both got comfy on your big couch and watched as trailers played. When the title screen appeared you hit play and snuggled into the blanket around you.

While watching you inched closer to Tom. Unlike in the movie theater there was no armrests preventing two people sitting next to each other from touching. When you were right next to him, you rested your head on his shoulder and waited for the feeling of his arm wrapping around your frame. It came a second later and you cuddled into him. He shifted so he could pull you onto his lap and wrap his arms around your waist, and you leaned back into his chest.

We should totally be a couple.

"What was that?" Tom looked down at you. Crap. You do this think-you're-thinking-something-but-you're-actually-saying-it-out-loud thing too much.

"Oh, just, um, I was thinking we should be a couple cause, ya know, we act more like a couple than friends," your eyes darted from him to the floor. He thought silently and you watched the movie, not really paying attention to what was happening but just staring at the moving colors.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yes," your head snapped around to face him. He smiled and kissed your nose.

"Now we're a couple."

"Sounds good," you grinned. Peter/Tom came on screen and both of you returned your attention to the movie. A few minutes later you took out your phone and opened the camera, flipping it so you could take a selfie. You waved the phone back and forth to gain Tom's attention and you both smiled at the camera and you snapped the picture.

You set the pic as your background and put your phone away, cuddling up to Tom's embrace. Not bad for a movie night.
