Peter "Puppy" Parker

You laughed and pushed open the door to your home, trying to refrain from snorting. Peter smiled at you, overjoyed he got you to laugh, and followed you into your home. Paws skidding on the ground met your ears and you spun to face your puppy racing towards you on the tile.

His tongue was out of his mouth as he raced towards you. He didn't get a lot of traction, so he kept sliding around and scrambling to continue towards you, making you giggle. Once he finally reached your foot, he lept up to start licking at the highest place he could reach: your knee.

You picked him up and nuzzled your noses, smiling brightly when he tried to lick your face. The pup yipped and you pulled him into a hug, almost hiding the small thing from view because he was so small. His golden fur was the only thing Peter could see.

Peter sighed and walked towards your room, dropping his bag on the floor on his way. Whenever you came home that stinkin' pup was always there to steal your attention away from him. And you always gave it so much love and affection, he couldn't help but to be jealous. He wished he was your dog.

You put Samーyour dogーdown, and after he gave you his best puppy-eyes, you sighed and bent down to pet him. "You attention hog," you teased. You got that right, Peter thought. "So, Peter." His gaze snapped to you. "What's the plan tonight?"

"Well I have patrol later, but I can stay a bit later than usual if I need to," he shrugged, trying to keep his options open. He loved every minute with you, and if it weren't for his duties as Spider-man, he'd love to stay with you all night.

"I'm thinking something chill, cause I'm feeling kinda lazy." Peter trailed into the living room after you and you went up to the TV. "What should we watch?"

"Supernatural?" He rose an eyebrow.

"Yes!" You turned on the TV and tossed Peter the remote to navigate Netflix. You went into the kitchen to get some snacks, searching through the fridge as well for drinks. You knew what Peter did every night, how he dressed in spandex and swung around the city to help people, though he said noone else knew. That made you feel special as well as guilty; special because he trusts you alone with that secret, and guilty because Aunt May deserved to know how he actually got hurt.

It was a funny story really how Peter told you he was the red and blue hero. It kinda came out as a mess of words while you were reading, but after processing what he said, you jumped to your feet and demanded to see his suit. He chuckled and showed it to you after you promised not to tell anyone his secret. That's when you spotted your book on the ground, closed, and you had no clue what page you were on. Peter panicked when you started crying and fell to your knees, until of course he realized it was just your book, so he told you the number he thought he saw in the corner of the page. You glomped him, saying he was a life-saver.

You smiled at the memory. Getting the few snacks you had on hand in your apartment, you walked back into the living room, seeing Peter was standing at the window, looking out over the city with concern obvious in his facial expression.

"What's up?" You set your snacks on the coffee table in front of the couch and picked up Sam so he didn't get into the food.

"I think I hear police sirens," he grumbled out, regret already in his tone.

"Go, they need you more than I do," you sent him a forlorn smile. "But hey, if you have time to come back before your patrol, we can watch some TV and snack on junk food."

"That sounds great." You two stood in silence for a moment before stretching Sam out to Peter.

"Say bye to Peter, Sammy!" Sam licked Peter's face and the boy closed his mouth, tilting his head away to not get too much puppy love. He wasn't a huge fan of the pooch, he probably never would be. "Bye Pete," you stepped up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "For good luck," you explained when you saw his awestruck expression. That was only partially true, but you knew you had no chance with him in that way. He liked (G/N).
