Spider-Man/Peter Parker One-Shots

(HC) Infinite Pain & Suffering

MAJOR SPOILERS for Avengers: Infinity War. If you haven't seen it yet, watch it then read this. And before we begin.....I'm sorry.

Though Peter Quill would later brag it was his plan, it was really a combined effort from everyone. Doctor Strange had a lasso around Thanos' armーthe one without the infinity gauntletーwhile Mantis sat on Thanos' shoulders, attempting to keep him subdued. Drax was keeping Thanos from rising to his feet, Tony was prying the gauntlet from his hand with Peter Parker's help, and you were prepared with an army of rocks to hurtle at Thanos if the need arose.

Telekinesis was what earned you a place alongside the other superheroes, though it was obvious they didn't want to recruit a kid. But when it came to stopping Thanos from wiping out half the universe, they needed all the help they could get.

The plan was going well when Quill approached Thanos' kneeling form. Nebula stood a small distance away, observing. Quill demanded to know where Gamora wasーyou wondered who that was. Thanos seemed to want to cry but because of Mantis' whatever-she-does he was having trouble doing much. Mantis explained he was feeling sorrow, but while this didn't answer Quill's question, a flash of realization passed over Nebula's face.

Nebula pointed out that Thanos had the soul stone. You could only obtain the soul stone by giving someone you love's soul in exchange. That meant this Gamora girl was.... You saw the change in Quill immediately as he faced Thanos again.

"That can't be true, tell me she's lying!" He shouted. Thanos said nothing. You knew what Quill was going to do and immediately released the rocks to stand in front of him.

"No, don't!" You looked him in the eyes but he stared at Thanos with pure hatred. You knew you wouldn't be enough to stop him from attacking Thanos. "We've almost got the gauntlet, just-" He shoved you away and threw blow after blow at Thanos' wrinkly purple face. This jarred Mantis and brought Thanos from the dazed state he was in. Tony and Parker got the gauntlet off but Thanos grabbed it and pulled it back, jerking the glove so both went flying. You spotted a jarring rock jutting from the ground where they were going to land and promptly moved it.

Thanos got to his feet and Mantis fell as he used Strange's magical whip against him, throwing him around with it. You avoided the doctor and picked up the rocks again, hurtling them at the raisin. They came in fast and hard, reminding you of what a machine gun fire would look like, but this seemed to only mildly annoy Thanos. Your eyes widened as he used the power stone to break a large chunk from what was once a building and throw it at you. You put up your hands to try and stop it with your powers but it smashed into you, sending you flying backwards. Your body was flipping end over end and you couldn't gain your bearings.

You had tensed up for the landing when someone caught you and swung back towards the fight. "You ok (Y/N)?" Parker asked, glancing down at you.

"Yeah," you breathed, smiling lightly. "Nice catch." He smiled, which you couldn't see behind his mask. Back in Queens he adorned a blue and red suit, but here his suit was different. A large portion of it was black with gold trimming and his eyes glowed, and he also had weird legs that came out of the back of the suit that mimicked that of a spider's.

Tony was fighting Thanos when the grape used the power stone to break apart a moon chillin outside the planet you occupied and sent the pieces hurtling towards you all. You tried desperately to use your ability to push the falling rocks away from your comrades but when a ginormous piece came towards Tony you weren't strong enough to deflect it. Instead you shoved Tony to the side but you weren't sure if he made it out from under the rock before it landed.

Thanos saw you frantically scanning the area for your friends after the meteor shower was over. "Impressive," he commented, causing you to whip around. "For such a young one you do an excellent job." You would've said thank you for the compliment if it had come from literally anyone else. He was dramatically walking towards you with his fist tightened, ready to attack whenever he felt like it. You shifted backwards, uneasy with how little distance there was between you two. Where were the others?
