One day, everything's fine. The next, your life got flipped turned upside down. What happened? Why you, of all people? You really weren't sure. But if you'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, and I'll tell you how you became Spider-girl.

...Actually tho you had no clue. You just got transported to another dimension or something. It looked exactly like your own, with you even having the same web-slinging friend, but in this dimension he must not've gotten bit because there was no such thing as Spider-man. You figured you must've switched places with him because you woke up with your hands stuck to the bedsheets and hyper-aware of everything around you. You saw the eggs your baby brother threw at you before they even left his hand, allowing you to quickly move out of the way.

You didn't have time to question it as the next thing you knew you were at school. You tried to find Peter but when you saw someone else had his locker you started to freak out. But then, to your great relief, you saw his locker was next to yours in this universe.

"Hey!" you called. He rose a hand in greeting then turned back to his locker. "So I've got to tell you something in private."

"We need to get to class-"

"Please Peter." You grabbed his arm. He frowned.

"You never call me Peter, it must be serious."

"What? I've never called you anything but..." Right, different universe. "Just c'mon." You took his hand and pulled him into an empty classroom. "Ok so, this is gonna sound weird, but I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong dimension." He opened his mouth. "No, wait for me to finish." You started pacing. "In my dimension there's a superhero called Spider-man, and he's you." He tried to speak again. "No, just hold on. I'm not sure how but I think I got your powers or something because I shouldn't be able to stick to walls and know when I'm about to get egged." There was a pause. "Oh, you can speak now."

"I know." You took a step back.

"What?"

"You already told me about your cool powers, but the whole traveling between dimensions is new."

"I have powers?" Why do I have to be the one who's stuck in the dimension where I'm normal?!

"You don't really use them. If I could do that I'd be out every night kicking butt!" He smiled confidently. "And in case you ever wanted to do that, I made these web thingies."

"You made web shooters?"

"Uh, sure."

"Can I have them?"

"I made them for you, of course!" The bell rang. "We need to get to class."

"Do you really want to go to class right now?" You were already dragging him toward the door.

"I need an education to get into college, (Stupid/Nickname), so yes."

You cringed. "Never call me that again."

"I thought you liked it."

"I don't think either universe me does."

"You keep talking about a multiverse. Are you actually sure you came from a different dimension?" He put a hand to his chin. "You did eat a lot of skittles yesterday."

"Yes I'm sure! There's no way a hero can just disappear off the face of the earth." Thinking about it now, you wondered if you'd ever get back to where you belong. Did the other you take your place so now there were two spider-people saving Queens? It was weird to think about.
