"Baka." The girl chuckled, before she collapsed.

"Rin!" Conan shouted, he went to run to the girl, but the woman in black grabbed her and the scissors. The woman placed the scissors against the girl's jugular. "Let her go." Conan growled.

"I've had enough of you brats. Now, do what I say or this little girl will die." The woman ordered.

Conan was trying to think of a plan, when Haibara walked to the center of the room. "H-haibara?" Conan questioned.

The girl stooped, and picked up the fallen gun. She immediately turned and pointed the gun at the woman. Steadying it in both hands. The woman stumbled back, and Haibara pulled the trigger. The bullet whizzed straight past the woman's face, and shattered the window. The woman seemed to be frozen in terror. She let the scissors, and Rin fall to the floor, before she herself sank to her knees. That got the police's attention. Haibara relaxed her arms, and let the gun dangle by her side.

Toshiya ran to untie his brother, and Conan and the rest of the Detective Boys ran to Rin. "Oi, Rin, wake up." Conan shook the girl gently. He turned to the Detective Boys. "What happened before I got here?" Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko seemed at a loss for words.

"She stabbed herself with those scissors." Haibara stated calmly.

"What? Why would she do that?" Conan growled in disbelief.

"I'm not sure, but she said something about coming to her senses." Haibara said with a shrug.

"She saved Ayumi." Genta mumbled.

"Yeah, if she hadn't done something, that woman would have shot her." Mitsuhiko whispered.

"Come on, wake up, Rin!" Conan growled at the girl.

"Will you shut up. I'm not dead or deaf." Came the groaning reply.

"You're alright!" Ayumi cried happily.

"Alright is a relative term. If you mean I'm not dead, then you would be correct. But, I am far from the definitive idea of alright." She grumbled as she opened her eyes.

"Yeah, she's fine." Conan sighed.

"I see how it is. It takes me stabbing myself and attacking another kidnapper to get you to talk to me. You'd better not make a habit of this. It's getting mundane." She struggled to sit up.

"Why'd you stab yourself in the first place?" Conan asked

"It's just a flesh wound. I'll tell you later. For now, give me your coat." She stated.

"Why?"

"Just do it." She grumbled. Conan took off his coat, and handed it to her. She got to her feet, and went to the traumatized woman. She yanked a handkerchief out of the woman's breast pocket.

"What are you doing?" Genta grumbled.

"Just shut up and let me do this." She grumbled. She jammed the handkerchief into the wound, and groaned loudly.

"Oi, stop!" Conan shouted, but she glared him into silence.

She grabbed a rag from the table, and used it to tie the handkerchief around her arm. Lastly she slid on Conan's coat. Outwardly, you couldn't tell she was hurt. She finished just before the police threw open the door.

The police were shocked to say the least, and thanks to a call from Shinichi Kudo, Inspector Mcguire showed up too. He arrested all four of the kidnappers. He especially barked at the woman in black. "You're going away for a long time. Kidnapping, illegal possession of a weapon, assault, and firing your weapon." Mcguire rattled off the list.
