Okay, so I've had to take opiates for pain before, and I know others who have had to take them as well, so (Y/N) response will be based in my experience and knowledge. Everyone's response to medication is different!

"Achoo! ACHOO!" Eisuke sneezed, and sniffled.

"That's why I told you not to come." Kogoro grumbled.

"Are you alright Eisuke?" Ran asked.

"See! The first one to get a cold is me." Eisuke whined, before sneezing again.

"It's snowing so much. Maybe Sonoko made the right choice in not coming." Ran muttered.

"Oi, don't get your germs on Ran." Kogoro barked.

"It's okay, Conan and Rin are warm." Ran smiled. The client, Misumi's car wasn't big, as such, one of them had to ride in Ran's lap. Rin's wounds would have been painful in Ran's lap, as such, Conan hadn't been given a choice. He glanced down at Rin, who slept peacefully, her head leaning against Ran's arm.

"You really met in the middle of a mountain?" Kogoro grumbled at Misumi.

"Yes. Her car broke down when she was driving with her friends to the ski resort. I just happened to be taking this shortcut too." Misumi muttered. "Hey, over there, past the trees! That's my car!" His shout jarred Rin awake, she looked around bleary eyed.

Rin looked around in confusion. "Where are we?"

"We're near Gunma Ski Park." Ran explained softly.

"Why?"

"Mr. Misumi's girlfriend left after a fight and took some important documents with her. We came to find her." Conan summarized in a childish voice.

Misumi pulled over and leapt out of the car.

Rin squinted after him. "Is she behind the car?" Conan shook his head. I guess the medicine has kicked in. She's out of it.

"She's in the car." Ran corrected.

"Case closed." Kogoro sighed.

Rin cocked her head. "But it's snowing, and the car isn't running."

Conan's eyebrows furrowed. She was right. There was no exhaust leaving the car.

"But her car's buried in snow, so she's been here a while..."

Conan threw open the car door. "I'm going to check on him!"

"Hey, wait!" Ran shouted after him.

"Ami?! Ami?!" Misumi shouted, pounding on the window.

When he got closer, he saw it. A woman was slumped over in the driver's seat. Tape covered the cracks of the doors, and a portable charcoal stove sat in the passenger seat.

Kogoro caught up with them, and quickly assessed the situation. "Do you have a spare key?"

"Yes--Yes I do!" Misumi dug in his pocket and pressed the key-fob. There was a click, as the car unlocked, but the doors wouldn't budge. "It's sealed with duct tape." Kogoro huffed, as he yanked on the door. "In this case, the best thing to do is to call the police to bust it open with tools..."

Before Kogoro could dial the police, Misumi appeared, a metal baseball bat in his hands. He slammed the bat into the windshield, splintering the glass.

"Where'd you get that?" Kogoro barked.

"I always have my baseball equipment in the trunk." Misumi replied, before slamming it into the windshield again. Conan watched him.

Ran and the others arrived, watching on with confusion. Rin scowled at the scene. "Use your elbow, coward." She mumbled. She was abnormally mellow. Sure, she wasn't usually phased by crime scenes, but this victim could still be alive, and she showed no sense of urgency.
