Okay, I know you guy's probably won't care, but I have to share something. I finally watched The Fist of Blue Sapphire! Ever since I started writing this story, I've been forcing myself to only watch a few episodes in advance so I can keep the character reactions as realistic as possible. However, I couldn't take it anymore, and watched it. And can I just say, THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! It makes me super excited to watch the rest of the series (that being everything after episode 415 and movie 9)! I haven't been this excited to binge watch in a while, which means I'm gonna keep trying to update frequently!

You climbed out of the car, grabbed your bag, and half ran to the door. Your sense of urgency, however, couldn't will the door open. Haibara seemed to notice, so she picked up the pace a little, and unlocked the door for you. You hurried inside and roughly tossed your bag to the side.

"(Y/N), what might be bothering you?" Dr. Agasa asked, worry filling his normally jubilant face.

"I-It's nothing." You tried to force a smile, but you couldn't manage it. "I think I'm just tired from everything that happened today, so I'm gonna try to rest for a bit."

"Alright. I set up your bed before we left." Dr. Agasa told you.

"Thanks." Without another word, you hurried to the bedroom. Your tone was short, but you weren't trying to be mean. You were simply trying to get away. After all, the blood had begun to seep into the corners of your vision. You grit your teeth. Even in the darkness it was there. Desperate to escape it, you climbed into bed, and covered your head with the blanket. It still remained.

You squeezed your eyed shut. It's not real. Come on (Y/N), calm down! You chastised yourself, but it was hopeless. You knew that fact all too well. When the blood came, there was nothing you could do to stop it. To date, only two things had managed to clear it, or, more accurately, two people. However, you couldn't bother them with this. You'd been enough of a nuisance to them. It infuriated you how much they'd had to save as of late. It made you feel pitiful... but, at the same time, it felt relieving.

Maybe it wouldn't hurt to just call them... You reached for your phone that was in your back pocket, but stopped. What are you doing, (Y/N)? You know full well that if you call them it'll make them worry. They have enough to deal with as is! You let your hand drop back to the bed. Just, try to sleep. Maybe I'll get lucky and sleep easy...

You were chained to a wall with heavy chains, each link wider than your arm. You struggled, but you knew there was no way you'd get free.

A mass of glowing red eyes gleamed into existence, slowly followed by the body of a massive scorpion, it's tail dripping poison."It's all useless, you know." The scorpion hissed in the voice that haunted your every moment.

You stopped your struggling, the panic sapping your strength. You pulled yourself as close to the wall as you could, before tucking into a tight ball.

Another pair of glowing red orbs bobbed into existence, followed by the long body of a silver serpent."You try to give yourself as much time as you can with them, but you're the weakest link." A different voice hissed this time, the voice of that silver snake sending shivers down your spine. "If you're seen, they die."

"If you try to hide, they suffer." The chilling voice of that woman echoed. With the voice, another figure appeared, this one taking the form of a bulbous spider with a blood hourglass on it's abdomen.

"There will never be a happy end for them."  The scorpion hummed.

"So long as you survive." The three voices hissed in unison.
